Why can't I ever get a good win on scratch tickets?
The part about $1500. is exactly right, and you can bet money that I wont be whining about it afterwards. The stated odds of a $500,000. hit are 1 in 240,000. Even if you multiple by the $20. price of a ticket you are still looking at a 4.8 million (per $1.) chance of hitting half a mill as opposed to 1 in 175,000,000 chance of hitting the multiple millions. 5 million vs. 175 million?.... 5 million vs. 175 million?..... 5 million vs. 175 million?......

Man scratches a $1M winner, but lottery ticket was a misprint
They knew exactly how many were faulty and those tickets must have serial numbers of some kind and on top of that they can typically track where the scratchies went and at minimum send out notices to this effect, asking retailers to pull and return according to their standard protocols. I have been reading of so many faux pas lately on the part of the vendors and the lottery, I begin to wonder what's coming next? It's not good business to turn this guy away empty handed in the sense that an inci

A system that generates only straight hits with few numbers to play !!
Here's a way that might improve your odds:
Keep track of the 5 most overdue, first digits.
Then pick 5 random 'back' pairs to put with the first digits.
You could of course track the 5 most overdue last digits, and randomly pick 5 front pairs, too.
To make things a little less random, avoid the last most recent 20 Front or Back pairs that have hit.
Select from the other 80 pairs that have not hit.

ohio rolling cash 5
Jackpot up to $593,000 tonight. I'll be surprised if it doesn't go.
Still trying to figure out my numbers for tonight. Rolling Cash 5 is my favorite Ohio game - best odds for a decent payout under normal circumstances, but especially when the jackpot is high like this!
The Giant Eagle closest to me has sold 2 jackpot winning Rolling Cash 5 tickets since February. A $308K winner in February, and a shared jackpot winner that ended up being worth $68K on April 13th. Might buy a tick

what is your thoughts on randomness is there structure even in chaos?
You definitely have the right idea with this theory. In the real world , they claim the pre-draws are to ensure fairness, and, that the machines are operating properly. I called BS on them both when I first learned about them. First of all, they spend all that money on contracts to get these high dollar, and, highly important government machines which are supposed to be QUALITY ASSURED/QUALITY CONTROLLED/INSPECTED prior to the shipping. So, they shouldn't need to be warmed up with all those snip

Which odds are better?
That's not true. With odds near 175 million, even most characteristics wouldn't be at a sufficient sample size to expect it to match the probability. I'm not doing the math for how long it would take to be 99% certain that the sample mean should match the theoreitical mean, unless something was wrong. It'd take to long, and I know it's a fruitless effort. It'd probably be 10s of thousands of draws, if not more.
In any case, my advice to you is simple. If you don't mind risking the money,

Which odds are better?
Okay, Ronnie. I'm going to ask you to look into something which I've already covered here. It ties directly with the pre-draws, and odds (probabilities). Now, in Pick 3/4, each position is 0-9 right...(10) numbers. In this particular official draw, for reference and comparison's sake, the numbers are 1-7-4 in a mid-day draw, okay. Now, for the evening draw, the numbers are 0-6-1...after several pre-draws. You still with me? Can you see what's happened here in position (A)? The (1) went to the VE
