Powerball sales skid hurts lottery profits
Once again the PB powers that be are sticking it to us by increasing the already near impossible odds all under the guise of increasing jackpots because some people are not happy with winning thirty to seventy million dollars. Come on people-- give me a break! $30,000,000 isn't enough when you make $35,000 - $90,000 a year????I think I'm gonna retire from Powerball and play games with much better odds. You can have the PB and the MM game. I'm not gonna participate in somebody's delusion th

keno players
In Georgia they pay you if you can hide 10 numbers on the chart of 1-80. It's only 5.00 dollars but what the heck. It gives you a little reason to play the hardest odds of 10 numbers. Funny how really hard it is to hide 10 numbers. Most of the time at least one of your 10 digits hits and you get nothing ofcourse. Like I said, at least you have a shot at hitting the 100,000.00 game. One thing to remember. If you see a digit go 10 games as a no show it's gonna hit really soon. Most digits hit a

Texas Lottery officials testify that public was deceived
So long as many people play a particular lottery game, they might not get rid of it or they might replace it with another game that has worst odds. But if many or most people quit buying tickets for that game they might get rid of it and or maybe replace with a game that has better odds, if they replace it with one that has worse odds then don't buy tickets for that game either, sooner or later maybe they might get the right idea.If you are from Texas then maybe you might want to get the TexasLot

What is better?
I agree there need to be more games where there are jackpots in the 250k-1 million dollar range, where you have a hugely better chance of hitting opposed to games like mega millions which are impossible . A perfect game is Wisconsin super cash. Roughly million to one odds to hit for 250k. If only they would jack up the payout percentages a game like that would create nice daily revenue for a state. Until states though jack up %'s, state lottos and smaller take five games will never grow. Prett

Jackpots
here's how i determine it.I take into account the cash value and (if applicable) annuity amounts. If I feel that the cash amount and annuity amount are right, with the annuity amount equaling $1 million a year before taxes, then it may be worth it.I take into account the odds. If the Mega Millions jackpot, with it's 135 million to 1 odds, is at $30 million, it isn't worth playing. If the OH Super Lotto Plus jackpot, with 14 million to one odds, is at $20 million, it's worth playing. If the OH Ro

Mega Millions changing June 24 -official
The odds are seriously against you in any lotto game. I find MegaMillions more fun to play than other games with better odds because it's more to dream about what I'd do with $200 million than with $1.5 million - I probably couldn't buy a little tropical island in the South Pacific with $1.5 million; there's a 1 in 52 chance at matching the megaball and at least getting $2, and I tend to view this game as either trying for the jackpot or the megaball; It is more bearable to continuously lose Meg

Powerball numbers suspiciously repetitive
Someone please answer this. If a player selects his own PB numbers, what are the odds of his or her hitting one of the white balls. I figure the odds are slightly more than 10 to 1. If that is correct, it seems the odds should be the same for having a white ball number repeat from the previous draw. Is this correct? I made a cursory count of the last 70 drawings and on 32 occasions there was at least one repeat number from the previous draw. I'm not a mathematician but it seems to me that
