Good for you doing well with CA Daily 3! I suck at it...
Might be nice if they had other betting options like some other states like front pair or back pair, etc. The pari-mutuel thing we have, that can be a blessing or a curse? Was good for PA players today that they have fixed payout amounts instead of pari-mutuel, but bad for PA lotto commission, they must have lost millions on this draw.(and will they take it out elsewhere with poorer scratch cards in the future?)
As for scratchers, ye

ok, I just need to vent a little. I understand lotteries are there to make a profit (business).
Lately, here in PA, they have been promoting the SURPRIZE second draw really hard and of course I've been playing a little heavier in anticipation ( my mistake). ok, I get it, make a profit from all the hopefuls (no second draw so far), but come on at least give us a draw with some decent or normal numbers ( very strange pick3, look at the payouts, very low). they're making a killing on both front

California Super Loto Plus Challenge
1-3-8-16-19-22-25-36-37-39-42-47 Mega 3-6-7-8
I got a match 3 from last night's winning numbers 3-13-21-25-36+1 but I'm sticking with those numbers.
Actually one of my tickets IRL did get a match 3, big whoop de doo: $9 back from $40 spent. Oh well.
I think Super Lotto this Saturday 7/16 will roll again. Doesn't seem to be a lot of people playing even though the jackpot is very high right now and exceed the odds on the game.
People are probably too distracted by the budget and debt c

want to learn more about the basics of lottery systems
I really enjoyed reading your response....this is something i've been thinking bout for months.
Instead of working on cracking the lottery, just find something that works every now and then and use money managing skills to make a profit.
I've thought about it so much but I haven't been able to find the right amount of numbers or right sysem to try out.
I need to calcuate the odds of everything I have in mind but I can't get around to getting the correct numbers...
Stack47, I will sen

want to learn more about the basics of lottery systems
Cobalt: her books: they are ancient, and as I keep saying over and over and over, yes, some folks won with her 'system' - MAINLY in the 1980's, a few in the 90's, that's a LONG time ago.
Let folks look at the absolute basics first, and then let them get into the intracacies of skips and sums and all that other stuff that doesn't work any better than any other system (if it did there would be a few LP members that should have won by now. The best I can come is 4x5 - 12 times.
And I can tel

All The Brains
I have no idea what West Virginia cash 25's matrix is, that's a different bird altogether, my guess is it is a 6/49 game.
The odds suggest 3-7-8-21-39 is FAR more likely to hit than 1-2-3-4-5 in Powerball. Powerball is all I know.
I'd be far more inclined to play 7-8-21-39-46, or something like that.
a 3/2 split with three 'odd' numbers.
And besides, RJoH does just fine, I have no problems with his logic.

North Carolina: 6/1 - 6/30/2011
Spiderman, I bought all of them today for 50cents. I hate to get in the habit of buying them every draw because no more than they hit I really think it's a waste of money but then again it's been quite awhile since we've had one not that that means we should get one because we could go for a long time yet...guess it's sort of hard for the air to blow just right in the machine to blow out 3 of the same numbers!
I know a couple of great p3 players that never play trips because of the odds.

I Have The Best System !!
But I won't share it here.
I use two software to pick the numbers of pick 3.
I use the odds even, and last digit.
Good bye !!
I am done.

Post your scratch ticket results
You're right Matt, it is harder to get more than $40 on a $20. It seems to be the going rate with a $100
tossed in there for the mess with your mind factor.
wow..those odds are pretty steep and they do seem to go higher and higher. I am happy to see another
$20 ticket and probably will go all out on them when they show up...when is that? Is it the 28th they come
out?

Idaho Lottery - largest payout for least invested?
Hi all. I am SURE this has been asked countless times, but it seems as though I cannot find it (via Google or forum search). I am trying to figure out Idaho Lottery's 'best bet'. I don't care how much the jackpot is. I just want to know what the best payout for the least invested is. I guess it would be a ratio.
Say, for instance, I buy a $1 pull-tab with a jackpot of $300, that only 2 people win. But, the chances of winning that $300 jackpot is better than playing, say, the PowerBall. How
