In all honesty, I would save most of it. I would buy 1 x $20 scratcher since the odds are typically better an then save the rest. I have a huge glass beer bottle with a plastic cap that sits on our kitchen counter. Definitely pick 3. The worst! Pick 3 and Pick 4 are the only CA Lottery games that I have spent several hundred and never won anything back from: zero, zip, zilch! I only play to maybe hit a straight once and then will never play them again. On Daily 3, I've had the right number several times, but missed it by a day, either was going to play next day, or skipped a day. In total missed out on about 4 straights and 6 box hits by a day. who needs to win lotto? you just need to have same name, or eeep buy a house off of a winner who doesnt tell you. to be murdered in your sleep. no blind trust would help in this situation, and worse no winningsa to disappear with. and you are more likely to have the same name as someone who wins than actually win yourself i base that on the odds of having someone with the same name out there. meaning that nime is more likely to win than you. as there are at least 2 of that name.

Scratchers have better return than pick 3, at least here in CA. I've plopped down several hundred on pick 3 and got nada, zip, squat. Here in CA we only have straight and box, no other prize options which makes it harder.
