Howdey Crow, I do see some merit in what you're saying, but I feel like you might be forgetting the rule of large numbers. Pre-draws might affect the short term results of the lottery but even pre-draws must conform to certain mathmatical rules over the long haul. What is a lottery system? What distinguishes a lottery system from guesses, dreams and quick picks?

Are you playing in a high or low volume store ? In general I would stay away from the low volume places as they are money pits at best. The worst are the places with a selection of only 5 scratch offs total. The same rolls sit there for months it seems. What I really dont play at but should be are gas stations. They seem to be havens for jackpot winners. They have lower volume then major grocery chains but carry a better selection of scratchers thus increasing odds of having more jackpots

RJOH, Granted the odds on scratchers are in the 1:5 range but there's no lock in buying ten and getting a winner. It just doesn't work that way. The winners may come once in every five or ten tickets, but more likely maybe two or three in a row out of thirty tickets and then another dry spell. In the long run it works out to 1:5, sure, but that doesn't guarantee or two winners out of every ten. People get slaughtered on dice tables trying to apply that kind of approach to betting 2 or 1
