Lucky Stores?
There are lucky stores in the sense that some stores sell winning tickets. Usually there's bonus money for selling a big winner, in addition to the attention.
But I don't think that's any different than saying there are lucky people, who would be the people who buy the winning tickets and win.
There are fewer stores than people, and some stores sell a lot of tickets, so there may be a tendency for luck to accumulate in some stores. This is the same as saying luck accumulates in New York. A

Identifying 'string' and other repeating patterns on EXCEL - all lotteries
Ameriken: I'd be out of my depth immediately if I attempted to superimpose my own understanding of repeated patterns and the patterns behind them, or groupings and the patterns of groupings. As nearly as I can tell every attempt to beat the odds printed on the back of a betslip by using some type of system relies completely on past draw results. Every one of them. Every thread on this forum.
The countifs function I mentioned just allows a different way of examining past draws in a way the se

47 people pick winning Fantasy 5 numbers
The odds are 1 in376,992 that you will pick 5 out of a possible 36 numbers.
I just smelled my play slip and my tickets. Nothing unusual except for the pasta sauce I dripped when serving dinner this evening.
Let me put it this way. I don't believe most of what I see on the internet, watch on TV and little of what I hear from neighbors. However, I do have faith that the Lottery is random. If I didn't, it would make no sense at all for me to buy a ticket, right?
I'm curious. What advant

Oregon Lottery draws St. Patrick's Raffle
I can't speak for all the other states but I know Illinois has offered a St. Patrick's Day and Halloween Raffle for several years now. I did the math of Illinois' raffle and they award 50 percent of the proceeds and the other 50 percent is returned to the players. So in dollars, they offer 500,000 raffle tickets at $20 a pop which nets a cool $10 million, and $5 million goes to prizes as there are 4 $1 million top prizes, 5 $100,000 prizes, and 500 $1,000 prizes. So not a bad way to raise $5 mil

What's with NY Sweet Million??
I AM obsessed with figuring out the correct SM numbers, I admit it, but not obsessed with spending lots of money that I can't afford on tickets like some people do. I didn't get any MM last night because I am in a pool with 20 people, so I just like that ride, without purchasing any more tickets for myself.
I read something interesting, getting five winning numbers on MM is just about the same odds as winning SM JP (about 1 out of 3,900,000), but to win the million on MM, you have to shell ou

Keep playing old games or move onto new ones?
Here in Texas I have been playing $500,000,000 Blockbuster since it came out on 05/18/09. There are 3 $2.5 MIL and 13 $1 MIL prizes left. Now there is a new $20 scratch-off that just started on 03/07/11, which is pretty much the same game with a new name, the $500 Million Frenzy with 10 $2.5 MIL and 40 $1 MIL prizes unclaimed. Both of these games have approx. 34,000,000 tickets.
When I play scratch-offs I stick with one game. But my question is would you quit the $500,000,000 Blockbuster and

Things lottery players should never assume
Never assume the Post Office will deliver a winning ticket to the Lottery Office even though you paid them to do it.
The odds are about 50/50.
50% chance they'll lose it / deliver it to the wrong address.
50% chance they'll steal it.
Cash it in person.

I see that the time to play Dbls. is in the Night Draw...
Dbls. drawn at Mid-Day in last 25 draws= (1)
Dbls. drawn at Evening in last 25 draws= (7)
But then the odds now lean toward a dbl. coming up very soon in the mid-day draw !!!
I would be a happy camper if only (1) Dbl. would come up each month in the mid and evening draws......

Ga Mid
Thanks Bob ....... Of course we got everything we needed Midday.....on the Night game last night. 015 ,,, the zero ,,,one digit middle position ...and a mirror.
I looked at all the last hits of zero ......and it looks like we need the first 2 digits as HIGH...... at least with the zero digit anyway. IF..it finally flips.
Perhaps that digit one will hit first .....although it shouldn't odds wise. Thats only a hundred numbers .......comparred to the Zero in alll positions ...that's
