YP, Stew Leonard's is a nice store! When I'm in CT and the SuperDraw raffle is on, I buy my tickets there. Stew's is the reason why The Mrs G5 wants to go to Danbury. She reminded me this morning that she'll be out of town on business for 5 days next week, which I had completely forgotten about. So I'll go to Stew's with her this weekend, and to Chucks Steakhouse which is also in Danbury. Chucks is as good a steakhouse as you'll find in NYC, but without the NYC prices. Naturally, while sh

Cant tell you a thing about Mass scratch-off's YP. Good luck on 'em. If your business takes you to PA, check out PA's Halloween Millionaire Raffle. Four top prize winners of one million. Odd's are 125,000 to 1, but tix are 20 bucks a pop. Last I heard was 65,000 have been sold out of a max of 500,000. Drawing is 10/31/15. I'm planning to hit PA in October to buy maybe 10 or so. Might be a little less. We'll see what the checkbook will allow when the time comes. G5 PS Last nite, The Mrs G5

Discovery - New PA Raffle Game Change
Taurus$ ... to be honest, I really don't know where all the large winners trend from. I have rarely seen anything in the paper or online about winners and I don't hunt around at the PA Lottery site for that information. Since it's a raffle I would think anybody anywhere with a ticket should have an equal shot. The only trend that some players have noticed, including myself, is that many of the large winning tickets at times were higher numbers near the end of the game ... but that's not 100%.

What if the PA Raffle Prize Structure Was Changed ?
I wonder how many people pay attention to anything on the chart beyond the million dollars. Obviously most of the people here would but I am constantly amazed at how many people I know who play who can't tell you anything about the games they play beyond the current jackpot. No knowledge of the odds, second prize, etc. My point being that the PA lottery attracts more casual players by being able to advertise with 4 chances to win a million than 2. I also think I have read (although I can'

Would you stop playing the lottery if you were restricted to Quick Picks?
That's news to me. Who ever said that? Nice try to parallel the QP/ Raffle ticket comparison but you're not even in the same ballpark. Where, oh where, do you think quick picks come from? Where do you think the QPs here on LP come from? Not a RNG? This should be good.

PA Raffle Tickets on Sale - Drawing July 11, 2015
I guess this is a two step process ... first all tickets are sold in numerical order from the beginning to the end and then the RNG would pick the winning numbers. However, this time the total ticket number of 500,000 did not sell out so they had to adjust the RNG from 500,000 to what ever the last ticket number sold actually was. They never had to do that before ... 500,000 worked for years until July 2015. When the raffle first started ... the total tickets sold was 625,000 ... then when

Glad I can't play take5 with all them odd numbers flyin around! Speaking of flyin around, 75 bucks per person to go parasailing,,,, that's what they think! Had I won the PA millionaire raffle I'd have thought it over a little more than I did when I saw the sign tellin me how much it costs. There's lot of people here,, everybody likes the beach, but one helluva lot of 'em look like cooked lobsters, including me! Some of 'em look like they got a lot of money too! So my older daughter and I

Whats the correct way to redeem an out of state scratch off?
Well, interesting thing I found out. You CAN'T insure lottery tickets you send through the mail with the postal service. If you read under their fine print it is one of the many exception items along with sweepstakes, raffle tickets and the like.. live animals that die including baby chicks and bees and such. So, you just have to rely on the good graces of the mail system of it arriving safe and sound. Probably best way to go is priority mail if there is any doubt and especially if any kind o
