How many numbers do you wheel?
Although I have split a wheel between me and a friend - we only picked like 9 numbers, for a 5 of 40 game. We didn't win, but we had the right pattern (like all the numbers that came were 2 below one of our numbers) which is why I sort of like the idea of wheels, they can allow you to play more numbers in an effecient way- but realize that you're not actually likely to win using wheels, you're just more likely to win something using them.
The way I see it, if I was going to spend 20ish d

figuring the odds (?)
The odds of the entire game divided by the total amount of tickets printed are 1:4.72
That doesnt mean that there is a gauranteed winner every 4.72 tickets. You could buy 20 tickets in a row and get 2 winners. Then on the next roll there could be 5 winners in a row. It all evens out to 1:4.72 in the end.
Im not sure which specific game you are referring to but with the information you provided I hope I clarified it for you =)
PS - The TOP PRIZES are normally 1 in xxxx...I

has anyone ever sued the lottery for misleading on scratchers?
I really wish I had the cash to buy 3 or 4 BOOKS to test the theory, not just one book to test with 3 or 4 tickets in a row, for example.
I mean, if you apply the odds to books at a time instead of tickets, it makes me wonder if on average every 4 books would net you a profit.
Then again, this could also work against you. Just as there can be scores of losing tickets in a row, there could also be scores of losing books in a row.
however it would be fun to try it, particularly if you cou

Hey Boney,
Yep it happens as part of state auditors review. I know someone who works for the firm the state uses to audit all gaming. They fire off 5 to 7 'test' draws off camera. I think this is a way to keep the game payouts where they are, and thows the odds over to the house. With the crunching tools at our disposal I know we could do some damage if all draws were recorded! To Crow's point...If you're chasing a due pair and wondering why crazy repeats are happening; its because the pair h

New scratch offs in Florida? Already?
I'm glad Black is gone. I had a bad time with that one. It seems like top prizes go the first couple weeks a new game comes out so I grabbed some Black. Figured I would play until I won. 10 tickets lose, 11th one is 5.00. This happened twice, then when I saw only 1 top prize remaining, I tried one last time, believe it, same thing happened. It was from an ITVM and on 11 counting down. I got them all 11 -00 and only one 5.00 win. I feel Black Pearls will be the same and actually has worse odds I

Winning The Lottery Is A Numbers Game-More Entries Gives You More Chances Of Winning
what about all the other people that bought only one ticket and won big? search the forums, there are lots of stories where one ticket was all that was needed. For every story where someone had to buy multiple tickets, there are like 2 stories of someone winning big with only one ticket.
Go on youtube and look up Jose Salmon He spent $600 a day on lotto tickets for almost 10 years before winning 13 million (annuitized pre-tax) in the Florida lotto. That's the Florida Lotto, where the odds of

What's with NY Sweet Million??
I think the jackpot on Thursday should have reaped the benefit of the Buy 5 Get 3 promotion. As you can see, simply the number of tickets matching 3 numbers ($3) simply doubles than the drawing on Jan 27. We had 18446 $3 prizes on Feb 3, but only 8948 $3 prizes on Jan 27 drawing.
In the South, in Virginia, Georgia and Kentucky, since this month, they are rolling out a Pick 6 game called Decades of Dollars, what their jackpot offers is either $250,000 per year for 30 years (total $7.5 million)

Turn a Lottery Post loser into a Powerball Winner
I don't mean to sound pissy, but someone posts a three digit number -all states for the next 7 days - and then it comes out once - boxed inAlaska and the poster is considered miraculous.
LOL
I agree with you on that statement right there. I still dont get why people post in the pick3 threads with like 50 picks and they get a box and think they did a great job picking #'s? Still puzzle sme to this day.
Seriously, the odds on a box on a 3way is 1 in 333...If someone plays
