Turn a Lottery Post loser into a Powerball Winner
I don't mean to sound pissy, but someone posts a three digit number -all states for the next 7 days - and then it comes out once - boxed inAlaska and the poster is considered miraculous. LOL I agree with you on that statement right there. I still dont get why people post in the pick3 threads with like 50 picks and they get a box and think they did a great job picking #'s? Still puzzle sme to this day. Seriously, the odds on a box on a 3way is 1 in 333...If someone plays

2nd chance drawings...
Does your state have 2nd chance drawings for losing scratch-offs? Here in Colorado, most tickets that are $10 or more have a second chance drawing for the grand prize. My wife and I currently have almost 3 dozen losers covering 6 different games. I've heard the odds are pretty good in these drawing since most people just trash their losing tickets. It's pretty easy for us to enter as well, we're registered with the Co. lottery website and just enter the losing ticket numbers online under

Update on Arkansas Million Dollar Raffle
Thanks for the update, I'm not sure if i want to invest anymore $ into this game. The Arkansas Scholarship Lottery (ASL) just sucked over $2 million out of the Ark economy, $2 million just setting in the back drawing interest. I think with every month that passes the odds of winning tickets getting destroyed, lost or forgotten about greatly increases and it will be a miracle if both million dollar prizes are claimed. I guess this is why the ASL director just got a cost of living raise,

How many tickets do you buy and why?
I drop a $20 every few days or so and buy a bunch, mostly only buy the $5 games and maybe fill in a $2 or $3 game here and there. The $5 games are the highest we have in CA and they also have the best odds, on paper and in practice it seems. I never scratch in the store, always take em home, and never go back the same day. Any winners go right back into buying more tickets. I'm playing with the goal of hitting a $1000 or higher or top prize, so I spread around my buying on different days and

How many tickets do you buy and why?
Hello, I have been playing scratch off tickets for a few months.... I started off buying 8 tickets of the same $5.00 game without much success. I changed up my system and started buying 4 of two seperate games and have been doing quite well. I do this just because the odds are about 1 in 4 that you will have a winner. Not sure if this makes much sense to everyone else, but it seems pretty logical to me. I'm wondering how much everyone else spends and how many tickets of e

The Pick 5 Jackpot Winning Thread--Get Your Numbers!!
Here is the way to picture this--. Each Number is a String below. Each Circle is Your Group who hold numbers from that String. For example--last night's ILLINOIS's numbers were 10-19-20-28-30. favourite games
In Colorado, we're a bit limited on games. We don't have P3's or P4's or Keno or any games like that. All we've got are PB, MM, a 6/42 lotto, 5/32 Cash 5, and a new 6/38 called MatchPlay. Matchplay is my fave. It doesn't have a high JP, but the smaller prizes are a bit more favorable (such as $1000 and $500). Tix are $2, and that gives you 3 lines of play. You can choose the numbers for the first line (or go with a QP), and the next 2 lines are automatically QP's. You can win by matchin

Heads or Tails
On casino table games house limits exist to kill steamers and progressive systems, whcih are called Martingales (double up and catch up). Theorhetically, if somonee had a large enough bankroll they could just keep playing until they won, regardless of how many losing bets they had to get through. But in the long run, even if there was no limit, that finally bet, the winner, would produce a gain of one unit (whatever unit you atre betting, $1, $25, etc...) On the winning side, the limit
