How does Jackpot Self Service Machine works
Oh man, that's something that some people only allow vending machines to do to them one time - ripping them off.
I've heard with some people (not me of course!) if the owner (whoever it is) doesn't get the machine (whatever it is) repaired after the first time, the repairs are much costlier the second time it rips them off.
That machine needs to tell people that you can't buy what you want before you put your money in or refund your money.

Lotto pet peeves (with vendors & other players)
My pet peave is machines that dispinse scratch off tickets that don't give the ticket that you paid for.Recently my wife I went to a casino and on the way home we stopped at a truckstop to eat. After eating we stopped at the ticket dispinsing machine to buy a few tickets.I put in $3 and could hear the machine shifting its gears to dispense my ticket...but no ticket dropped into the machines tray.I told my wife to go tell the kid behind the counter. The kid told her that he didn't have a key and wa

Self-service lottery machines popular in Pennsylvania
To Billy Kaldes, owner of The Spot in downtown Harrisburg, selling Pennsylvania lottery tickets is the biggest thing for business since the introduction of the Rendell Burger in 2003.Kaldes installed one of the lottery's new self-service ticket dispensers this month, and its first-week sales of $4,297 set a record. It earned him a visit yesterday from The Spot's last big thing, Gov. Ed Rendell, who touted the lottery's growth and picked up a couple of burgers. This terminal allows the player to g

I'm done playing the lottery
I don't see how a vending machine problem is the retailers responsibility. If there is a mechanical or electrical issue with it which there obviously is, how is the retailer supposed to fix it?
I would go on their contact us page https://www.coloradolottery.com/en/about/contact-us/ and send them an email explaining the issue or call again and ask to speak to someone other than a customer service rep who is just going to blow you off with an It's the retailers responsibility excuse. Also whe

I'm done playing the lottery
I have a Safeway that's a 5 minute walk from where I live. You can use the vending machine or play slips. But that's in Md.
There isn't always someone at the customer service counter, so I just go to the liquor store 3 doors down in the shopping center with my play slips. If I don't want to go there, there's 4 more retailers within a mile or two that do play slips.

I'm done playing the lottery
Tucker Black. I usually play at a grocery store called Schnucks, ST Louis chain, I'm in Illinois. Their lottery vending machine is one of the most unreliable things in town. It has accepted paper money, but often not $5 bills, then when it has accepted the money 'ate' the payslips. I'm not kidding. Or accepted the money but did not give out any tickets. Usually it's ok with scratchers but draw games are a totally different story. Fortunately this store accepts draw game tickets at customer servi

three zones of a lottery
all you need to play the lottery is some money plus basic working knowledge of how to use a vending machine or interact with a human cashier. when someone wins the lottery, the winner's story is always something like they either play the same numbers all the time or they just randomly stopped to get some quick picks.
you never hear a winner's story about how they applied 5th dimensional trigonometric probability to lottery number patterns and spent years developing a science of lotterology.

Massachusetts Lottery to add second daily Mass Cash drawing
They have made a total mess of this Mass Cash 2nd drawing rollout. The Ma. lottery is usually quite efficient. I wondered immediately about both the season tickets (which they no longer sell I believe but there had to be some that had them with time left on them). I also wondered why they didn't print new play slips in advance of this. They canceled the rollout but now you cannot advance play even for 2 days which many like to do in this game because it is nightly now. You have to go in every da

Arizona Lottery bans Fast Play bulk ticket purchases
Dude what are you talking about? Apparently you don't know what a Fast Play ticket is. Fast Play tickets print out of the lottery terminal or a lottery vending machine. YOU instantly know if you have won or not by looking at the ticket or scanning it. There are NO waiting until the numbers are drawn. Arizona feels that there is a problem with some people trying to buy up all the Fast Play tickets in the Progressive games, which are jackpots that continually grow until someone wins. In my area of
