Lottery Code has already been broken
There's a description of our electronic draws for CA, and it seems pretty hard to crack. Arguably harder to spot any anomalies than with bouncing balls. A hack would probably have to be an inside job by the contractor who supplies the machine.
It is a random selection of different random number generators, one a pseudo-random algorithm, the other an RNG.(I assume hardware type running of unsyncd clocks or noice sources) I still have a question about terminal quick picks though, how well those

Mom dying dream 6-6-13
I had a horrible dream.
i dreamed that June Ambrose was picking out hats for a party for my mom. My mom was having a party and needed help picking out things. She chose a hat and looked great at the party/event. She said she wanted to leave and we were getting ready to go. A doctor called and said the gas fumes would hurt/kill her and she should stay put. My father in law Bobby came to pick her up and said she could go if she wanted to. A security gaurd tries to tackle him and he threw him to

Have you ever picked up discarded lottery tickets hoping you got an overlooked winner?
Not lottery tickets but there are people who scour the horse racing tracks seats and the race books in casinos looking for discarded winners every day. I forget the proper term for them (there ar plenty of slang ones).
Back in the days when slot machines paid out in coins and not credits there were people who would go through the casinos in the 'wee' hours and pull handles and push Cash Out buttons on poker machines to see if anyone had left winners in the machines - very common.
There was

If you won either the MM/PB JP: How soon would you claim your prize?
Because it is much easier to manage my money with annuity.
Because I will be less tempted to do stupid things with my money.
Because I am not going to listen to political indoctrination from people who choose the lump sum. Every time we have a discussion about lump sum vs annuity, the reason to choose the lump sum is always 95% political, 5% economics. I am not going to listen to people who are politically motivated.
Because I am perfectly happy with just 125K per year. I am no

Could it be true, did I finally hit the big one?
Checked my email this morning and noticed UK Lottery had sent me a email to check my account because I had won something. They don't tell you in the email for security reasons so I go to check my account and it says click here to see what I had one and I found out I had won a big..........................
2.75 for 2 numbers for the Friday draw. :D
Kind of lame the quick picks chose me 24 25 26 27 but hey, better than a total fail.
Spent the 2 on a line for this

Would you spend $10 Million on a home.
Mea culpa, Jill!!! I should have stated that the taxes in question was for one specific house I was looking at. I didn't do an analysis of other homes in PBC or even bother to look at their tax codes. I just love this one particular home and the asking price is just shy of $10M which was right on point for this discussion; taxes on it in 2012 were $67,144.
Thank you for pointing that out. I don't want to intentionally mislead anyone. LOL. I didn't really care about the other homes, just this

From their FB page
The Cash 4 midday live drawing on Sunday, March 24, 2013, was a valid drawing. Due to a technical error with the camera, the graphics displayed on the television screen were incorrect. Instead of the camera continuing to pan to the right to show the fourth digit of the number, the camera inadvertently panned to the left and showed the first digit again, instead of #5 which was the fourth digit drawn. The draw talent did make the correction on air and announced the winn

Is everyone playing the lottery in hopes of being able to retire, what are your reasons for playing?
My primary goal is financial security for the rest of my life.
Also...
- I would like to be able to spend my days doing whatever I want, instead of going to work every day to make money for others.
- If I win enough, I want to make life easier for some of my family.
- After catching up on some things, I want to spend more time helping others (sick, elderly, etc.).

Is everyone playing the lottery in hopes of being able to retire, what are your reasons for playing?
My main reason for playing is because I want to win enough to hopefully live the rest of my life with financial freedom. I'd love to pay off all my bills and feel secure..I think feeling SECURE is the main word here.. There are things I've never done in life that i'd like to do..I'd like to do some traveling and even go to Disney Land. I've never been there...haven't really done much of anything really....
I'd like to pay off my children's college tuitions and hopefully win enough to set them

What is your experience??
RJOh,
That really sounds convenient with the banks in Ohio.
These are the rules in Illinois:
For prizes up to $600
Most local lottery retailers will cash winning tickets that are less than $600. Their ability to cash winning tickets is subject to fund availability and the individual retailer s preference. You can also cash lower denomination winning lottery tickets (less than $600) at any of the Prize Claim Centers around the state. If you can t make it to a Prize Claim Center, you c
