Thank you, RJOh. That's all I wanted to know. I gave someone else the opportunity to do the same thing...regardless of what it was spent on and they wouldn't answer me. Every game, theoretically, only requires (1) ticket to win. But, once you calculate the odds in for that (1) combination vs. all the rest of the possibilities it becomes clear that $5 is really worth it. I spent $5 on the Texas Lottery, and, my LAST LINE came within 1-2 numbers of matching them all. If you think about it, the first four $1 QP's could've been given to others. Had I bought the fifth QP, I would've only spent $1 to get within 1-2 numbers of them all!!! It simply depends on what

The odds of winning the jackpot are exactly the same whether you wheel a small group of numbers for $20 or get $20 worth of QPs. The only real way to compare the two bets is to make both bets and see which method out preformed the other on secondary prizes. I for one won't spend the extra 20 bucks to test it, but there is a QP generator on LP that accomplishes the same thing.
