Your State Now Having Both Powerball And Mega Millions
Illinois has had Mega Millions and added Powerball. We haven't heard a thing yet about the Megaplier but I'm thinking it might have to happen just to compete.
Right now the MM jackpoot is $15,000,000 and the PB is $115,000,000. The buck that would have went to MM will become the Powerplay on the PB.
Let's see, oh my head the pain.....$15 vs $115 million, and $250,000 for 5 + 0 vs $1,000,000.
Kind of a no brainer.
I realize there is that element that can't pass up a drawing and has to

Mega Millions, Powerball lottery ticket cross-sales begins today
Today marks the first time both of the USA's huge multi-state lottery games can be purchased within the same state.
Dozens of states begin selling both Mega Millions and Powerball tickets today, moving the U.S. a step closer to having a national lottery.
By the time the remainder of the states with a lottery sign on to the new arrangement as early as this spring the nation's two biggest lotteries will be sold in 45 jurisdictions: 43 states plus Washington, D.C., and the U.S. Virgin Islands

I understand that most people do what they think that is best for them....but when has that approach ever proved fruitful/beneficial amoung the general population of lotto players throughout the lottoworld?
Stubborness and holding onto a number has made countless players eventually go broke using this kind of ideology...NCEL understands that the general population knows little if anything about probability/statistics or else they'd raise helll about NCELS low-payout in regards to pick-3 pick-

How many No Digit Returns (per wk) in Pick 3
ON Average...How many No Digit Returns (per wk) should we expect in Pick 3 ?
I guess the better question is .....
How many NO digit returns do we get ......from Single Number to Single number ? No Doubles
.....because we know that the odds go up the more doubles hit during the week yes ?
ON average Pick 3 gets ...... about 263 single numbers per year right.....and so how many of those are NO digit returns?

What's Your Quirky Little Superstition?
OK, I just put this in my blog for reference.
Didn't catch it in time, 'vut' it out in the first paragraph should be cut it out.
I like the idea of the ace of diamonds and the clothespining a dollar bill. For those here on LP who believe that playing one more dollar cuts the odds in half, well, what about the following;
GEMINI:
Even numbers harmonize fate's vibrations. Buy two lottery tickets with the same numbers and keep both under the pyramid for twin power.

Keno Can be Won: Just Like Pick6/42 (Win For Life)...
I didnt knew this until i started thinking...Keno which is: Pick20/80 but it selects 10 numbers out of those 20...Well i heard that Keno got like: 1 in 4 million odds which means it has: 4 million combinations..Is roughly the same amount of Combinations that Win for Life Pick6/42 has...
Well if you make each Pick6/42 combination translate to a keno combination it will be just like playing Pick6/42...It might be easier because each of the 6 numbers of a Pick6/42 combination plays randomnly but

Perspectives
Yes Coin Toss, that was one of the reasons for posting this, but the main reason was to show how incredibly hard it is to pick the winning combo short of a miracle, especially with the PB.
I'm not trying to burst people's bubbles or stymie their hopes and dreams of hitting the big one. Anything is possible. I just thought it'd be interesting to know the whole story so to speak. A few years ago I heard a news reporter showing another perspective of the immense odds of the Florida Lotto wi

Things that make you go HMMMMM
Okay, so I was just noticing something. States have their 5of 6 plus bonus games and the pick five ( or our Fantasy Five) games right? Okay, the 5/49 plus a bonus almost ALWAYS have 3 or 4 people win 5 without the bonus numbers. ,giving them a small share of around 20-30K, right?
Now, you take the Fantasy Five, which doesn't have a bonus number and only 39 numbers. There is almost always ONLY one winner that wins the 50 to 350K jackpot.
Can anyone explain why that is? to me, I would
