Thanks very much Tungsten chef ! Did not know about those . Ofcourse 1 position digits are good because they cut down the odds at hitting a straight but..... I sure do hate catching them early. I know it is a 1 in 4 chance at finally getting one with a DOUBLE ....like in the case of WC's digit 1 last night ....181....but it's a cheap date way to track and hunt those bad boys. You would've won your own lottery had you saved all that money you spent on tickets. I don't believe in bigger is better i.e. the more you spend the better chance you have at winning. Even buying 11,000 tickets wouldn't get you anywhere near the first prize considering the odds. Better to place smaller bets but have a better strategy. When Powerball aded Florida the odds jumped up considerably, if I remember right from 146 million to 1 to 194 million to one. That's with the addition of one state. Whether you look at a combined MM / PB lottery as a 29 state game picking up 12 more states, or vice versa, I hate to think what that would do to the matrix.
