One method?
Power Trails works because when all different digits are drawn it will
give you 2 of them 8 or 9 times out of 10 and when that happens
there are only 8 digits remaining to close the box so it brings the odds
down to 1 in 8. With a good eye you can kinda know what it's gonna
do. It works as well as anything else I've seen in its class. BobP

I think Californians hate Super Lotto Plus
I like California LOtto Plus....I like it more than MegaMillions...I wish they had it in my state....This is something i've been saying for years...They literally kill California Super Lotto Plus when they introduced MegaMIllions/Powerball....Common sense should have told them that two games at the same time will not survive specially if THEY LOOK ALIKE..Massachussetts have i think is 3 but their look different....
Pluse the lottery has the difficult task of persuading non-lottery players to

Is there a "Lottery Ego?"
I don't flaunt my system as being some all mighty system that can predict the winning set 100% of the time each and every single draw. If such a system existed, the person would only need to play a single set of numbers per drawing; the winning set. The reason systems don't work isn't necessarily because they do not give the player an edge. Some systems actually do work, but because of the sheer numbers involved, the wanted results STILL do not happen.
See, odds of 1 in 5 aren't really that g

Why I think quick picks suck
Okay, the post by Coin Toss, got me thinking a little bit.........I'm not trying to bash anyone that likes quick picks. If you play alot of quick picks then good luck to you. I'm just simply saying this........if I wanted to get hit by lightning I wouldn't just go stand outside. I would probably do some things to increase my chances. I would go outside in a thunderstorm, stand under the tallest tree, wrap myself in tin foil........well you get the point. I like to use the same approach when play

Tough economy? Some cut back on lottery tickets, wagering
Since April I've been playing much less, only one play per draw just so I can still have a chance to win and look forward to the drawings. It turns out to be more fun to have only 1 number or set in each game because if I lose it's not as big a deal. The payouts on the daily games are still the same, but the big games' jackpots increase more slowly. Even so I still see frequent winners of PB and MM. People still play. I haven't won much lately but for the last few months it was still better than

Hello! I'm new here
Welcome to LP. We don't have MM in Florida, but we do get some pretty large jackpots. Regarding do you ever think you're just in the wrong area .... I think it's not that someone is in the wrong area as much as not being in the right place at the right time which could be a matter of seconds. MM has odds of over 170 million to 1 if I'm not mistaken. So even if someone picks the right state, the right city, the right retailer and the right time of day, the person in front or back of you could buy

Why do you play?
Read one way (and feel free to correct me if I am wrong)
Buying one ticket line in Mega Millions will lose around 60% of the time.....
So your one line will only net you any type of win about 40% of the time and the majority
of those wins will be $150 or less...
If that was how it worked the lottery would be out of business in a hurry. The overall odds of winning (anything) are about 1 in 40 which is 2.5% of the time. 97.5% of the time you won't even get your dollar back.

Instant WIN for NY Take 5??
I just noticed that NY Take 5 is offering a
Instant Win
Option that can be played for an extra $1. It is only offered through June and is promotional. Anyone else know much about it as I can't seem to get any details on the web site (such as odds or how much they payout)
From the looks of the promo it doesn't pay more than $600 (retailer max payout).
anyone know more?

Wow, I got a response from Laverne Maloney -- really, I am honored.. I have admired your prediction talents for some time. That is VERY considerate and helpful for you to jump in and offer your wise advice -- and how true it is.. thanks, I'll always have this strategy on my mind when I am pondering which digits or numbers to pick.
For tomorrow's draw, I am favoring the digits 5,1,6,9 -- probably in that order.. maybe I'll do a dub 55 mix it up with the 1,6, 9. I don't have my work-out sheet i
