Powerball multi-state lottery to raise prices, jackpots
Dunno WHEN we as a people of the USA will get smart and stop voting in people that do not represent us, disrepect us, use us and threaten us if we don't fall in line with what they want. They use police action against us if we try to rise up against the crap they spit out at us, calling it Security , the only thing is secure is that they can make a mockery of our Constitution and the Bill of Right. Use us as they see fit? The young ones are fed up with it and they have the power to change things

Merry Christmas
As yet another year comes to a close let me wish everyone in the LP family as well as people all over the world a very MERRY CHRISTMAS! This time of year I often reflect on the events of the year both good and bad. I have had some small victories as well as some setbacks. But overall I feel blessed. I wish my financial situation would change but I guess that's why we play the lottery, hoping and wishing to catch lightning just once and have our numbers hit. In all reality most of us will go a l

Man to sue Austrian casino after $57 million jackpot denied
your comment reminded me of a funny thing that used to happen when the slot machines were still electro-mechanical. when there was a power failure, the casino's backup generators would kick in,this took about 4 seconds to occur. when the power returned the machines would start dumping money in the payout tray even when when no one was playing them. this sent the electricians, slot techs security ppl.scrambling. doesn.t happen anymore, machines are now fully electronic.

Ct. Powerball lottery winners signed affidavit swearing they are only members of trust
Hey rundown, Just my opionion but these 3 guys would have been anonymous if they didn't show up at the press conference. The only entity who would have known their identity would be the IRS and the Lottery Commission. At least that is what I read somewhere online. Even if you claim the money under a trust they'd be the only ones to know the true identity. I read they do a social security number sweep to see if you owe child support or income taxes. Then they'll deduct that amount from your

Documentary
I saw that a few months back and found it very interesting. I thought it was great how the Dad built new homes for himself and his kids and set thim up in businesses. Then going back to Vietnam to help his extended family instead of blowing the money on toys like so many lottery winners end up doing. The story I found most interesting though was the one with the couple, Kristine and Steve, who won 110 million. The bought a big house and were living the country club lifestyle but were still ve

Best Ways of Keeping a Low Profile
Ever try to sit in a Maserati or Ferrari? I've ridden in a deLorean Gull wing and peeps, it ain't pretty trying to get out if you're over 30 years of age and more than 15 pounds overweight--LOL My next door neighbor has a Cadillac Excalibur and he only owns a beverage shop so as long as you don't go entirely crazy, most people will only assume that you've come into a bit of luck or a relative died. Brad Duke bought the farmland that some earlier poster suggested and built his own little king

North Carolina: 10/1 - 10/31/2011
About 99% of the time i talk a lot of insane/gibberish/incoherent bulllsheet around here and it is mainly just for laughs and nothing else. HOWEVER some of the tricks that ncel pulls is out of bounds if ya ask me . Check this out : right now the pair 81x has been missing for over 120+ draws and i mean 120+ in ANY position.....statistically speaking this should not happen....because there is hidden data and this means that it is more than likely the pair 81x has already hit in the pre-draw

McDonald's Monopoly Instant Win Game
From wikipedia about the McDonald's Monopoly scam/fraud: In 2000, the US promotion was halted after fraud was uncovered. A subcontracting company called Simon Marketing (a then-subsidiary of Cyrk), which had been hired by McDonald's to organize and promote the game, failed to recognize a flaw in its procedures, and the chief of security, Jerome P. Jacobson, was able to remove the most expensive game pieces, which he then passed to associates who would redeem them and share the proceeds. Th

Opinion: Powerball winners will lose big if they go public
great quotes take some good thinking to understand fully. I just miss - I miss being anonymous. , you miss it to , if your found out to be a large jackpot winner and bugged for cash none stop. Obviously you don't want to be anonymous, but you don't want everyone to know your life. Money all you need for people to notice you in shopping world enjoy being rich, just don't you dare let anyone and everyone know that your a lottery winner, they they think the

$220 MILLION: Powerball lottery jackpot ramps up
Though I really couldn't imagine any WI jackpot winners staying in Wisconsin... long enough to do any good for the people there. So it seems a lot more fair to let one of the transplants, living like expats, in the middle of nowhere, like several of those condemned to reside in the state of Oklahoma, that have better odds of moving to Wisconsin to help all the good and honest people there; while also plotting to buy out the company which left them stranded in these foreign lands because a sad
