Which way is better?
The odds still say it's more likely that you'll lose the $365 and human nature says tyou're not going to wait another 364 days to play. Remember Buster Douglas ( Buffet Buster ), the boxer that beat Mike Tyson in Japan? People used to bet heavy on Tyson, often laying $1700 or $2200 to win $100. (You have to put up $1700 or $220 to get paid $100, he was that heavily favored.) If we're talking Pick 3, if you can lose bets like that, having 365 combos out of 1,000 means nothing more than yo

How long can you lose ...in a row??
Hello Yukio.. Bon De...ah ? Just for fun.... pick a group of numbers that represent 500 of the 1000 chart or 50% that will NOT hit in the next draw. There are many 50/50 odds groups to choose from. Half the numbers are HIGH...LOW Half are MOSTLY/All Even or Mostly/All Odd..... 50% add up to odd sum totals....and 50% add up to Even totals ....etc. Pick Half of your games chart that will NOT hit and you win ! Easy ..... perhaps.

splitting the jackpot prize with family members.
OOps--this answered a question I had in reply to a similar question on another posting--so I'm NOT trying to be redundant in what I said and you really do have some info for me that I had wondered about. Only one thing, Floyd. . .could you please recheck your sources for the figure of $44,000. What I had read is that the current law allows a yearly gift of $12,000/person per gifter--so you and your wife could gift a total of $24,000 to your mother and $24,000 to your father for a total of $48

Is it possible...
From what I've read they mostly use Pi on Pick-3 and Pick-4 games. I don't know what the odds of finding any 3 or 4 digits together in order, exactly the same spot two draws in a row, but they are probably about the same as buying a QP. If you've got a string of digits 1 billion eleven digits long you can find only 1 billion 12 digit strings. That gives you a 1 in 14.5 chance of finding your winning combination. Bet somebody read that and is trying it now. How long do you thing it wou

Did you noticed that now, most of the hot predictors...
Ok, tried the West Virginia Cash 25. 10 trials. Winners: 4 predictions, 3 of 6 for $5 each. The odds are similar to Keno games, even if the game is a six number game. Probably you are talking about the easy types of games, since this site use fixed amounts for the calculations of prize ratios there could be some distortions. The real prize is just $1, here it is listed as $5. Ok, this could serve as a compensation for those 2/5 losts on Pennsylvania Treasure Hunt games. There is

Hoosier Lottery
If the current cash value is 60%, then I think it's a result of higher than normal ticket sales. The actual cash value is always directly related to ticket sales, because a percentage of sales goes to each prize level. The relative values of the cash in the prize pool and the annuity value is determined by the interest that is expected to be earned with the cash. Varying tickets sales has nothing to do with it. has anyone considered that the reason why there isn't a roll over after the

UK Lottery operator plans $500 million global lottery game
Sounds like they are planning a regular draw with a super draw at the end of the year. One idea might be to make the wager and prize in local currency. For example, in the UK a ticket is a pound and the prize 500 million pounds. In the U.S. the ticket is a dollar and the prize 500 million dollars. In Mexico the ticket is a peso and the prize 500 million pesos. Would be really cool if we could play online through any country for those of us who would prefer a low ticket cost for playing a b

Pick-3 Positional Frequency
I didn't do that right for Pick-5. To determine the number of combinations necessary for a full wheel matrix you would treat the wheel as a mini-lotto game, determine the odds for that game to learn the number of combinations necessary. Say you want to know the number of combinations needed to make a Pick-5 full wheel matrix for 12 numbers. 12x11x10x09x08 = 95,040 The game is Pick-5 so 5x4x3x2x1 = 120 Dividing 120 into 95,040 = 792 combinations or tickets needed to make a full whe
