Can you Color Code in Excel?
Rakster.... are you going to try to color code each of the 6 ways....and the 3 way doubles? If thats it... Great idea.
I was just thinking of using numbers .... 100 (1.) 001 (2.) 010 (3.) .....etc.
Wanted to see the 6 ways more than doubles..... because it's an even number of WAYS.... then I could watch for many odds in a row....or Highs....etc. You know....
Color would give us a great visual cue ..... many green or Red ...etc. in a row.... or LACK there of.

Lottery mathematics
Somehow this link got deleted from my math page. It gives the formulas, possibilities and odds for all hits in all possible lottery matrices from 2/2 to 7/100. There are two charts - scroll down on the page to view the chart for bonus ball lotteries.

Someone explain...
I rarely buy scratch offs and usually only when i have won money playing pick 3 or 4.
one day i walked into a place and bought a 1.00 scratch of cause i thought the game was cool if you scratched 3 cats you won that prize. The first ticket was a looser. only had two cats i thought what the heck give me another one. The second ticket had 3 cats a 9 grand winner.
You just never know when it's going to happen. A co worker and his family were at a birthday dinner he bought his wife a scratch

What Would Be An Ideal Lottery?
I would keep exactly what FL has now except I would change the matrix back to 6/49. I don't like the idea of a lottery run by the Federal Government. I'm satisfied with the smaller jackpots with better odds.
A worldwide lottery would be too complicated IMHO. Anyway, to me it would never be a real international game, since there are too many countries where just one dollar can be the difference between life or death, where the average annual income is less than $1,000. There are already

Whether you've only got $2 and you're hoping the lottery will
buy you lunch or you'd like to pick up a little extra cash,
Fun Money is clearly the sucker bet
Yuppers....a person would be better off throwing away their dollar on a PB QP. The PB odds are much much greater, but its the same dollar, and the potential return is much better.
I guess interest in scratch offs as a regular activity is just something I don't comprehend. I sometimes see people (mostly guys) that look like they aren

Lottery Marketing
Thanks everyone for participating in this thread. I remember when I turned on the 11:00 news one evening and the anchor man announced the New Year's Raffle saying best odds ever. I mean, it wasn't even an advertisement. I guess that's considered to be news! Then they announced that many people didn't get a chance to play so they were having another Raffle for July 4. It just struck me in an odd way that, along with the Iraq War, the local shootings and child rapes, buy your tickets early

Who Is Really Going To Teach You How To Win??
The 6/49 game is huge leap from 6/25 as well as 6/39. If MD. hadn't ruined the 6/49 game I would play it, $2.00 a play is wrong. That is why I have said before I like Ohio, the game selection is good.
DC6 DC and Bonus Match 5 MD. are better deals for the money, sometimes I'll play 40 lines and not a hit. What I do in that case is replay. The odds then seem to go more in your favor.
If I had a 6/49 game I would have a maxima and minima, in other words to play between say, 6 and 36, 10 and

7-7-7 was a lucky day!!
No point in arguing about this. I guess I am foolish to think there are ethics in gambling. Of course a person purchasing 10 tickets has a greater chance of winning than someone who buys only one. I was only saying that I don't believe in special treatment, and a store owner who prints extra tickets for his regular customers is giving them an advantage. My original comment about this matter was in response to a post stating that this was the case. Yes, it's true that nobody should wait un
