Pencil & paper, day by day vs backtesting
Say anything you want. My observation is merely that in tracking 6 methods of number selection I've seen here for almost 100 draws, I haven't seen any of them produce a solid hit. Two out of three in Pick 3, occassionally, 2 out of 5 in Pick 5, nothing more. Granted Pick 5 is a dream - a mini- dream compared to Pick 6, but still some powerfull odds. I realize this is a place to test theories, I'm just saying that some of the claims of results seem to be bogus. But I'll keep tra

10 Best Lotteries to Play
PA's LFL(6/38) is the second best Pick 6 game in the country; WV's 6/25 game, as noted above, is no doubt the best. The problem is many want a Pick 6 game with a small number field with a reward of millions. Guess what? It ain't gonna happen! Smaller number field games are more fun, more winnable, and a more prudent way to spend our hard earned dollars. When players stop playing the games with the worst odds (=which have the HIGHEST number fields like Power/MegaRip with 55 numbers!), t

A Challenge to CASH Only from SirMetro
The problem is he does not have factual evidence, he only has a personal opinion. He is not too young, I believe it is the opposite. He is over 60 I believe the last time I remember, which would explain his disdain against annuities. However he is trying to pass off personal bias as fact, and act as though everyone shares the same opinion. To only accept cash prizes is a very close-minded approach, it all depends on the circumstances at the time, and the person's situation. There is nothing

Fixed Lotteries
Someone said: today's ball drawings have almost as much security going on behind the scenes as they do in a bank vault I totally agree with them on that..It wouldn't surprise me if they kept the machine in a bank vault... Yes games like Powerball that are 150 something million odds don't need to fix what plays...But i do get paranoid...Very few times it has cross my mind whether the games are fixed..But what to hear something crazy?Sometimes i get the feeling that they do the following..

Has This Ever Happened To You?
Once in a while you'll hear this story: I have a friend who didn't play her numbers last week and she lost $20 million! Some people swear it's happened to them. I forgot to buy a ticket last night and my numbers were drawn. The odds are so great, it almost seems unbelievable. I realize my obsession with playing the same numbers isn't rational, but I haven't changed them in over 12 years. I often think about changing games or buying quickpicks instead, but I keep remembering those hor

Court dismisses lottery suit, orders man to pay fees
Flame is correct in his fact. My comments: The guy actually can appeal and take his one part of the case further. If indeed its true that the lottery is not allocating its funds correctly as it advertises. Naturally the guy has the odds against him since the lottery commission can delay stuff in courts and break his bank for trying. Years ago Pennsylvania used to promote that 50% of its proceeds went to elderly programs. It has ceased making such a claim and now simply says some of
