Bet slips
They are NOT playing the numbers for you in the State daily numbers game, (Pick-3/4) only the Lottery games. Think about it, 900 to 1 odds as oppose to the state payout of 500 to 1, they would go broke quick. They use the state winning numbers and pay off of them accordingly, think of them as being your Bookie as back in the day. The big games like PowerBall and MegaMillions they would actually purchase the ticket in the state game and take a 1% interest in any prize won. So if you wo

Explaination of Pick 5 needed
PadawanLotto, The odds of matching 2 is 1:10, so playing 10 lines should be enough to get a $1 win most of the time. When checking your 24 lines wheel with all 441 Ohio Rolling Cash5 records it matched two 1112 times - about 3 times each draw, matched three 104 times - 1/4 of the time and matched 4 one time. Rearranging those numbers might get a match5 and waiting till the jackpot roll to $300K+ could make it worth while. When the Old Buckeye5 (5/37) got to 1000 drawings it started to ha

vtracs....useless or not??
Todd writes: We all know that the lottery is purposely constructed to be as random as possible, so there is NO system that will always win. It's more of a concept that you have to strike when the iron is hot , meaning that you have to play the right numbers at the right time, and any consistencies in number occurences are fleeting, so if you are looking for long-term consistencies, you will likely not find them. I agree. For example one system might be playing numbers that have hit in

any success with the new lucky for life?
I didn't win anything in the first Win for Life drawing, but it's a very good game with some great features. I like the game and I'll continue to play. The overall odds of winning any prize are 1 in 21, so I might start to get a little impatient if I don't win something in the next few draws. I agree with you, Ms emilyg. Money talks, and BS walks. Congratulations to you on your winnings in the inaugural Win for Life drawing! I hope to join you in the winners' circle soon. Best of luck to

vtracs....useless or not??
Clairvoyance: tntea simply doesn't want to post here results because if she does then it could just prove vtracs to be useless. And you are right, it doesn't hurt her winnings anyway. Also, it could prove vtracs to be a useful tool/strategy if she would post her results for a one month period. To everyone clammering on about show me a system that beats random expectation, there are lots and their are many on the lotterypost. I even posted one earlier in this thread that apparently went

Strategies, sustems, techniques, or luck?
truecritic A lot of those lucky people were not players, first time and one time tourists. The guys with the notebooks keeping track of the diece and who could recite the odds on every bet to you would be telling them don't bet this or that bet, and it was those very bets that were putting money in their racks! There's a saying in Vegas about grinder players (mostly for the minimum buy-in they're renting a spot on the table so they can get free drinks, Came to stay, not to pla

THE NEBRASKA 8! No way do I show my face.
Fact: Each of the eight have 15.5 million in cash. Fact: Each will go in different directions. The odds are that at least one of them will encounter financial difficulties later in life. Fact: It's easy to do if you are not smart with your windfall. Fact: It's hard to do if you are wise. DD

Probability of a MegaMillions rollover.
I expect that a $500M jackpot will happen eventually. It will certainly be a rare event though. Since the matrix change, the draw number of particular drawings is close to 8, meaning the average draw has rolled over 8 times. At an 8th drawing, as I see it, the probability of 18 drawings, where a putative $500M jackpot would probably show itself, is about 5%. I think it is next to impossible to completely saturate the lottery field, the odds are so poor. Thus a rollover is almost a
