random means it cannot be defined
Despite the randomness of any given lottery draw it doesn't change the odds of an individual number's chances of coming in.
With Keno each number in an 80/20 draw has a 4 to 1 chance of hitting, which means over the long run you'll still find that each number has hit about the right amount of times that it should have.
It may take days or even weeks for a specific number to come in but then you'll notice it makes up for it by hitting repeatedly for a while. That makes it possible even in

ryanm...please share your wisdom
.....I'm too cheap to play both games at once every time.
I guess that's what they call the RUB
Consider the possibility that the GREATEST value for your money in ANY long odds game is to simply be in it... That way when your numbers hit you can pat yourself on the back and say I was WHERE I was supposed to be DOING what I was supposed to be doing aka I PUT myself in the RIGHT place at the RIGHT time .
Of course the alternative is to still be walking around with that EXTRA buc

How close have you come.......
Hit 3 plus PB about a year ago.
My favorite is the folks who say I was just few numbers away! I just smile and say yeah ..we are all a dollar away from playing and millions away from winning.
We try to simplify the fact that with less then 60 balls in a canister we should surely hit some of them! What is less visual to understand is taking ten pounds of sand, painting only 5 grains a paler tan color and then telling a person to find all five painted grains within 30 secs! Its plum near imp

Lottery Post member turns up the heat on the Hoosier Lottery
Well Done Jim! Watch you have just identified is something that never ever should happen. Proper audits and internal controls, as well as vulnerability assessments would prevent these types of problems from ever occuring; however, 16 years of no audits has gave you the result you are seeing. How did the former Director keep his job if payouts on the daily games are so bad? Why didn't he investigate these low payouts?
You are right, the scratch off figures are staggering! How is that? Probabl

Straight Hit in NJ Last Night!
Congrats, Todd. It is a bummer that they use pari-mutuel payouts for the P-3 and P-4 in some states. Another rip-off for the player.
The P-3 and -4 are the only lottery games that usually pay off 50% of your odds.
The rest are rip-offs to the player. Casinos take about 8% of your money and race tracks take about 18%. The state takes a minimum of 50% of the lottery take and to make that take larger is a slap in the face to all of us who support our lotteries.
But WTG, Man! $170 is b

Figuring Out Gail Howard
Well, from what I have learned reading her book, then working the program is if the frequent number drawn in say 20 draws does not follow many of the currently drawn numbers, it's programmed to be one of her picks. Then I've noticed the numbers that follow approximately 1/2 of the time are also programmed to come up. I seldom see numbers that were drawn one time on the list, unless they followed several numbers. ERGO: 2,3,4 and 13 drawn 1 time followed the trio. I don't see any true number l

Penn. woman Loses $20,000 In Jamaican Lottery Scam

Well said.
Allow me to elaborate; if you've never heard of the sponsor, and if you didn't enter their contest, odds are better than average that you'll finish somewhere below first place after all the votes are tallied.
Of course, there's always the remote possibility that they just like you so much that they'd pay you even if you didn't buy a ticket. If this is the case, remember, the more money you send them, the better they'll like you, and so it follows that the prize you did

Fate, Destiny, Karma or...
Jim, could you believe that I have spent over 100 thou on pic 4 and scratch offs and cant win! This is an outrage! Try the scratch offs sometime. Spend 500 or 1000 and you might get back what you paid for 1 ticket!I use to go to Georgia and cash in scratch offs for an hour or two at a time. I am glad to know that people are putting 2 and 2 together and seeing that it is impossible for the Hoosier Lottery to never have any winners----see for yourself! All people on Lottery Post, compare the Hoosi

Here are the mostly even doubles and singles. Because we have had 2 Sum 8's back to back you could filter out all of the sum 8 mostly evens for tonight. Three in a row would be pretty thin odds. Im I too addicted?
It's not always how much a person spends that can be a problem, but why he/she spends it. We all have hopes of winning, but the big jackpots are games of chance and have great odds. That money should never be something we depend on. It might change your life forever, but it also might never happen. I hope everyone here will be very lucky someday. At the same time we have to tell ourselves the truth is one can spend $200 a week for 80 years and never win a huge PB or MM jackpot or even a State Lo
