chaos
Most people that I have talked to about patterns and trends, tell me they don't exist. It is so frustrating, to explain that I've researched alot of books on this matter, and thatjust because they have never heard most of what I have read, doesn't mean those factsdo not exist. If you toss a coin only once in your lifetime, Yes, it has a fifty-fifty chance. However, If you toss a coin 10 times, and it comes up heads 10 times in a row, whatwould you bet on the eleventh toss? I don't know of anybody

Are Secrets Really Worth Keeping?
Originally posted by dboz7: The key to sports and most gambling is money management.....dont chase your losses when losing and dont bet bigger when you are on a hot streak. A much better way to go with the Pick 3 style games, in my opinion is to build your own jackpot, play numbers against your lottery without actually buying tickets instead putting the money in your own pot, pay yourself if you win and let it build interest if you lose. I posted this theory before and it did not go over to we

trashed tickets
First, I always play my own numbers for all types of lottery. For a lotto game with a big jackpot, I would find out the numbers from a very reliable source which in most states would mean being able to view the drawing on TV (but not in DE, no more televised drawings of any type, so I go to a retailer and ask for a report ticket for the particular lotto game and check my tickets). I usually know pretty quick when I see the numbers for a jackpot game, if I have winners, as I wheel in small numbe

Minnesota Let's crack their code..
Although what I am about to share is NOT the method I'm using, I may go to it for one or two states. It takes more time to do than most methods, but I shared this with another member of LP and it worked! Minnesota is not one of the states I normally predict, but when the break the code was mentioned, it got my juices flowing! You can break down the 220 numbers that we all know and love so well into 4 groups of 55. They are Even/Low, Even/High, Odd/Low, and Odd/High. Choose the right group o

Sign the petition - eliminate computerized drawings!
Thanks for the interesting link. The first thing I found interesting was how profitable the Megaplier is, and it really makes me wonder why all states don't offer it.With regard to the computerized drawings discussion, I found that the Textas Lottery Commission (TLC) Board appears to be hypnotized by computerized lottery drawing people/companies.The testimony of the A M professor was amazing in that he must have spoke for an hour, and said what could be boiled down into one minute. Basically,

California Lottery fixes major problem with Derby game
Computerized lottery drawings the culprit in flawed results
Dave Andres, an insurance underwriter from Altadena, California, thought he alone was in the habit of scanning hundreds of winning numbers in the lottery's least-popular game, Daily Derby.
He assumed no one else noticed that for 100 days running this winter, none of the winning times in the horse race-themed game had numbers that were repeated.
He knew that players had to not only pick the right horses but also the last three d

I think I am on to something big...But...
It has become very quiet in this thread today!! Guess everyone did like I did and checked the results. We are still waiting on IL Eve and the horses, but so far no winners. And to Dead_Aim, you are right I tried to stay off the forums, but sometimes I just get so mad at seeing someone trying to sell snake oil that I have to speak up. I do get obnoxious..you are right. I stuck up for you when people were giving you a hard time for bashing me, but I suppose you don't remember that. Some of the

I think I am on to something big...But...
I like Jag's probability analysis on the pick3 pairs, although not complete, still very intuitive. It's unfortunate in Canada we can't play pairs otherwise an excellent strategy could be employed here. I'll have to look into it a bit or someone else may want to look into it further, but I would think that if you chose a set of pairs like Genius has in his post, say 16 pairs, 8 front and 8 back. Then wait until the Standard Deviation of skipped draws of those pairs hitting becomes equal to or g

$205 million lottery jackpot payoff lures Mega players
Tasha King will play the 11-state Mega Millions lottery for a chance at the $205 million jackpot, but she plans to carefully choose six numbers that could change her life. I play the lottery pretty regularly, the Cleveland woman said Thursday as she bought a regular Ohio lottery ticket at Mike's Beverages on Lorain and West 93rd Street. I have to think about which numbers to play [for Mega Millions]. When I decide, they will be my secret. King is among the millions of hopefuls who will take a
