How exactly are lottery scratchers numbered in CA
Hi Think, I understand what you are saying, and thanks for that. I just think it's very odd that those numbers do not correlate with tickets (supposedly) sold, and there is no formal site showing how they are actually numbered. There should be some way to corroborate the site statistics with actual numbers, and book 1million doesn't match what I would expect with 18million. I could understand if somehow each pool was random or had gaps for security, or something else, but that would mean the

How exactly are lottery scratchers numbered in CA
Looking around the web, I see that numbers are generated sequentially. So, if there are 18million tickets, I would expect my ticket to be somewhere from 1 to 18million. However, since there are books and then sub numbers, I have to calculate slightly differently. Concretely, I have a CA 200X scratcher that has about 18million total tickets. I look at a ticket and see a number 1182345-025. If I assume each book at 30 tickets, it means my book should start at 1182345 to 118237

Pick 3 Forecast (Multiple States) 15th Edition
What's up Biz. GA and VA are states that use ball machines machines to choose their numbers. I'm sure we are all aware of the Gambler's Fallacy and know that the odds don't change and from what I've experienced the patterns are the same in all states that use ball machines. The reality is our strategies usually sukk. A lot of people get mad at the state lottery when it's their strategy that's the issue. Most of the cheating you hear about are in states that use computerized pseudorandom numb

Virginia woman wins $175,000 with 35 lottery tickets in one Pick 4 drawing
aw. great, another one in VA., one in a gigantic way $$$ The ONLY real way to play. Love my Multi-wins on a Pick 4, so, I am very happy she did this, astutely, and prudently, where, last week, we had one winner on Mega smh and some spent so much to win at Mega Power games, yet, Pick 4 is turning out so many winners. I love to see this, I really do. P4 is sure not a rip off, better odds, and again congrats! Please invest wisely.

Ohio: 4/1 - 4/30/2023
the first 2 digits will not be curve curve .... (0,3,6,8,9) ... in one of the first 2 spots you will see .... 1,2,5,4, or 7 The first 2 digits will probably not be low hi .... example ... so for instance if I were playing 148 ... I would not play it straight as 184 .... or if i was playing 147, i would not play it as 174 straight If you are not wheeling a number, you can't just choose a random order to play , i mean you can ... but if you want to put the odds in your favor , you should

Buying More Tickets Lowers the Odds
Figured as much. No disrespect to to BobP, I didn't read it. And didn't have to to see where this thread was headed after the terms ugly episode and defeat got thrown around. The only people who would consider it ugly were those who didn't agree with the mathematicians, statisticians, and ASM who explained the odds. Yet, the poster couldn't disprove or deny what the math pros said, and never tried. And it never was a win/lose situation since the poster was given a choice and chose to

Florida Fantasy-5 Players
The reason why FF5 jackpots were so good and lower tier prizes were so bad is due to the percentages allocated to prizes of the winners prize pool. FF5's official rules show 62% of the winner's prize pool is used to fund the jackpot. The second place prize is 10% of the winners pool and the third place prize prize is 28% of the winners pool. The prize structure was purposely designed to provide a big jackpot and lousy lower tier prizes. The Florida Lottery are the one's that chose those allo

Florida Fantasy-5 Players
Now that there has been two drawings held, I think we can see the pattern for what the future holds as far as jackpots go. The midday draw jackpots will be low, and the evening draw jackpots will be substantially higher. (Last nights jackpot was almost three times higher than the midday's) My guess is that FF5 players will catch on to that very quickly, and as a result will wait for the midday draw to happen, and then buy their tickets for the evening draw. I think too, that we're going to s
