Danbury on that day that Donald Peters died , he unknowingly provided financial security for his wife of 59 years and their family.
Peters bought two Connecticut lottery tickets at the local 7-Eleven stor on Nov 1 as part of a 20 -year tradition he shared with Charlotte.. Later that day, the 79 year old retired hat factory worker suffered a fatal heart attack while working in his yard.
On Friday, his widow cashed in one of the tickets:

Piqua lottery winners unveiled to cheers, tears of joy
New vehicles and new houses are on the horizon for many of the 15 multimillionaires in town.
Even more important is the security they want the money to bring to their families, winners of the $207 million Mega Millions lottery said as their identities were revealed Wednesday, Dec. 17.
My mom, she won't stop crying. My sister, she won't stop crying, said Jolaine Routson, 46, a Piqua city Parks and Recreation department worker.
She's one of 14 city workers and one worker's father-in-law

Big fat tax concern...
I already have a revocable trust that holds my larger assets, namely my home and investments (not that those are extensive - even before the crash). The trust has my social security number and I am the trustee. I pay all taxes as an individual, so the trust does not have any income tax benefits. The only thing this trust does is allow my estate to pass outside of the probate process upon my death - which has quite a few benefits including preventing the nature and extend of my assets from becomi

Nightmare Lottery Scenario
You wouldn't have to be as worried as you think. First of all, the very next day you could tell the lottery commission that your ticket was stolen. So when the cop, or if the cop is trying to be smart and sneaky, the cop's friend or family member, comes in to claim the winnings the the lottery would have a few questions for them.
First, What store did you purchase the ticket at? What time of day was it? How did you pick your numbers?
Second, they would also check any security camera footag

Tenn. Lottery CEO blames lagging sales on Powerball
The lottery board is a farce. I don't know how you get appointed to serve on the board, but one of the qualifications is that you must be willing to play ball . They're supposed to oversee the lottery, but its more like they're in cahoots with them instead. The board approved (for the first time in the lottery's existence) a change in how the bonuses were paid this year...why? So they'd have a better shot at earning it in the face of declining sales, it's now determined on less cut-and-dried met

Really, really losing my interest in lottery
If your able to go to school full time what makes you think you could possibly win a case for 100% disability.
being 100 percent disabled means unable to work perform even the simplest of tasks. Unless it's for mental issues. With the VA it would mean loss of limbs sight or any one or more of accumulated illnesses totaling 100% or more.
100% VA rating for unemployablility means you have reached an age and are so disabled as to not be able to be trained for any type of work to sustain

what to do when you win the lottery?
I know what you mean on that one....IF one was to close their eyes...and emagine they have just won the jp, they would naturally start thinking about things they have never been able to buy, but can now...or how to plan out their finances etc. That itself does not scare me...its the walking out of the headquarters a millionaire and possibly having every paranoid thought rush through my head...is it just me? Or do you feel that way. ahh I'm just a freak-uh-zoid. But I have 3 children and the thou

Faith and the Lottery leads to my Farewell.
There is nothing wrong with playing the lottery within your means. If you have let what you spend on anything get out of control, then yes you need to stop cold turkey.
The lottery is a recreation that provides hope in the future. That ticket in your pocket could be the way out of all your financal problems for the cost of a single well played dollar per draw. If god wanted you to win, how else would you want the money sent to you, by a loved one dying?
If a religion is telling you l

How to Prove Your Lottery IS Fixed?

A doctor i know orthopedic surgeon was in his hum v with his wife and kids, got crushed by a tractor trailer. killed everybody.
People who work for the lottery are average everyday citizens cant even play the games and for the most part could care less about the people that do.
All the equipment is locked up there are several people who have the key to the vault. security personnel and cameras everywhere. Still it's common practice to do
