Yes, wheeling was a very appealing idea when I first came across it. There is a section here for platuium and gold members that has a wheel systerm for the pick 3 and 4 as well as the pick five plus mega. I read someone else's opinion about using a wheel for the lotteries that use the 'mega' ball such as SuperLotto, MegaMillions and Powerball and his opinion was that 'wheeling' your numbers didn't increase your odds of winning the jackpot anymore than buying 'quickpicks.' I went to work testing

CA Lottery - California Love - CA Lottery Scratchers
was thinking about trying that new $10 new crossword....until I saw this on the calottery site: cash odds: 1 in 7.62 !!!!!! For a $10 game, this seems pretty ridiculous. The other $10 scratcher cash odds are much lower, but then again...the cash prizes are also lower (a lot of $10-$15 wins). So maybe for this new crossword scratcher, CAlottery added better odds for tickets (1 in 6), higher cash prizes, and although it all evens out to worse cash odds....the prizes are much bigger? Am I right? If

You got that right razzy ! 3's and digit 4's ........and now 036.
At least it wasn't a double 3 or 4.
Interesting however...... why do you think after several draws in a row that are ALL doubles .......... that most of the Quick Picks all seem to be Doubles too? Why?
People have ask about that for a long time. Part of the answer is ...... the lottery can actually control the quick pick results they put out.....and its legal.

$550 MILLION: Powerball jackpot now more than a half-billion dollars
Wow, that is really nitpicky.
Okay, yes, depending on how many tickets one person purchases or doesn't purchase at all, then the odds change. But I don't believe that was her question. I read her comment to be that the number of individual people buying a ticket changed the odds. So as it stands right now with more than zero people participating, it's still 1 in 175M per ticket. even if a billion people were to play.
If only one person plays the PB and purchases only one ticket, the odds

is anyone making an income from lottery
You posted the link to the article so don't blame me because it says The rule of succession has been subject to much criticism, partly due to the example which Laplace chose to illustrate it.
The probability of the sun rising is exactly the same as the probability against MM or PB drawing six numbers plus a bonus number in their next drawings.
If you think the Rule of Succession will help you and Ronnie select 28 number sets to wheel which will give you BETTER ODDS to win MM and PB jackp

Question for those who have bought the whole roll
Interestingly enough, I've only bought 3 entire rolls in the last 5 years, but yes--the odds were pretty much on point. In fact:
1. Billion Dollar Blockbuster ($20 game) and there are 50 tickets on that roll. I had 17 winners. Overall advertised odds are 1:2.98....pretty much right on. However, they were mostly small wins. That roll had 2 winners of $100, but small wins the rest of the way. It returned $595.....
2. Gold Rush Tripler ($20 game) and there are 30 tickets on that roll. I had 9

Jimmy4164,
Profits extracted from lottery... ? What are you talking about? Yes, its true you wouldn't know if my comments were sincere or otherwise, and so I appreciate that your're now a little less heavy-handed with your assumptions. Well just a wee little - lol. I do respect your response above though, but your conclusion is inaccurate. I would not deter people from what I too believe are the same mathematically sound principals you espouse. Those principals are iron clad. I just also bel

Do some number combinations have better odds?
Thanks for the welcome Ronnie316, Im here with hopes of discoverying new ways to help in refining my methods even further. I'm in no way any kind of mathematical brainier. I still count with my fingers. Which is probably why I had to use the history of draws (LOOKING AT THE PICTURES WAY OF LOOKING AT THINGS) to figure out a system, and its seems to work pretty good it seems.
So far this is where im at: 649 has odds of 1 in 13,983,816
With my system, 100% accurate, : 1 in 3 draws or slight

Would you still play Mega Millions if your state lottery's jackpot was bigger?
In Ohio, PowerBall and MegaMillions tickets are available at the same terminal that sells Ohio's Classic Lotto and Rolling Cash5 tickets.
Today:
Rolling Cash5 is at $100,000 with odds of 1:6K
Classic Lotto is at $27,700,000 with odds of 1:14M
PowerBall is at $40,000,000 with odds of 1:175M
MegaMillions just rolled to $13,000,000 with odds of 1:175M
Since jackpot size and their odds of winning are the only things that matter to me, it not hard to tell which game I'm playing toda

The stores video camera.
...there are hundreds of millions of losing tickets in order for that one person...
I would highly question those numbers right there. If there were really hundreds of millions of losers in order to obtain a winner, those Powerball guys have a lot of explaining to do as to why they only increased their prize by $10 on 4(?) separate occasions in December. Same for MM, as they haven't had a jackpot of over $100 million since mid-September.
I understand the odds are something like 1 in 1
