I didn't think I would get a straight answer - and I didn't. Seems you folks who know all about odds, probability, statistics, algorithms, and the like don't seem to know how to function in real world lottery play. As many of you know, some time a go PA had their balls tampered with. Since then, over time I assume, states started implementing the same tests. Call me a conspiracy person but I find it strange. I have to agree with everything written above. That said, since June of 2014 when Cash 4Life began in New York, top prize ($1,000 day for life) and second prize (1,000 week for life) winners have been very few and far between. No top prize or second place prize has ever had to be split. Even after New Jersey offered the game nothing changed with regard to the number and frequency of top prize winners. It's easy to find patterns after the drawing has come and gone, the hard part is doing it before. I am sure I could find the winning numbers somewhere within the birth dates of family members, after the drawing that is. There are more patterns for what could have won then there are sets in the matrix. With this in mind picking the correct pattern gives worse odds.
