Get ready Headaches coming
Listen when i say congrats i mean it cause i know things that people dont know about the lottery.
So if u won picking ur numbers its amazing because one instance can kill the dream.
I will be posting and u will see what im talking about tommorrow if im cheated.
The chances of really winning the jackpot playing ur owns numbers is higher than the odds
believe it or not.
I know people are gonna say the odds are the odds but thats only if u have enough money to
test that out.
So

Do some number combinations have better odds?
Despite the fact that you are correct, that you didn't outright call him dumb, you must recognize that you've been implying it for some time now.
Context matters. And you can pick and choose from your past words as much as you want, but saying things like a buffoon could get better odds and replying to his comment by saying he says the dumbest things when what he was saying was actually completely accurate makes you look dumb.
Statements like I have better odds and I never claime

Do some number combinations have better odds?
And the thing is that 33 to 5 reduces down to 6.6 to 1
And that's the accumulative effect by betting four other numbers, but the only effect on the first bet is a slight decrease in the payoff.
not 33 to 1.
It's five chances to match one number and only slightly reduces the odds against any one of those numbers winning. It's just as correct to say the odds against any one of those chances winning is 33 to 1 as to say the accumulative effect gives the overall bet odds of 6.6 to 1.

Do some number combinations have better odds?
You CANNOT reduce your odds PER TICKET by doing that
But you keep telling me you can reduce your odds PER ROULETTE NUMBER by doing that.
When the $31 is paid, it really doesn't matter what the overall odds on winning number was or if the bettor says he knew only one of the numbers could win, the other four bets would lose, or says he had five chances out of 38. I prefer to look at odds as to 1 when there is only one outcome knowing whatever number of other chance I bet are to 1 too.

Are player odds and "overall odds" the same??
Ronnie, you're a sharp guy with numbers...and should know the answer to this question. If not, then I'm happy to help buddy. No, you haven't cut the odds in half with only a single number... even if you match it on every draw, we're still dealing with permutations in the end. That bonus number still has to correlate with at least (2) additional numbers, CONSISTENTLY, to effectively produce those odds. Why? Well, in lamens terms, you're half way there so to speak...'cause there are (6) numbers to

Do some number combinations have better odds?
Any numbered wheel has the potential of matching five numbers and the odds against are proportional to the total number of combinations. Short of playing a full wheel or having a system that places the numbers in a correct order into an abbreviate or any other type of wheel with less than all the combos, using a filtered wheel and passing all the filters or a 4 if 4 wheel will give the player a much better chance of having a five number match.
The first time I matched all five numbers using a

PowerBall finally may has the edge it's been seeking
As time moves forward with this alleged, and, implemented change for better odds, players will be very attentive while taking notes on the results...especially LP members. A simple change in the powerball count of (35) at present from the former (39) will do nothing for the game. They should've adjusted the ENTIRE matrix of both the (59) balls and the (39) balls in order to provide better odds for the player. But, this would be too much like right and on par with what they've already claimed to

A Black Swan in the lottery?
Boney526,
Better odds, yes, but SergeM said better payouts.
The house edge on almost all roulette bets is 5.26%, but odds and payouts are different.
The odds bets on craps on the Pass Line and Come bets (and Don't Pass and Don't come) are the ony bets in the entire casino that pay true odds, but you have to have the flat bet to take or lay odds.
The game of Faro was taken out of the casinos a long time ago because most of the game was an even money bet, didn't make much for the house

Buying More Tickets Does Not Increase Your Odds.
The probability of hitting the winning combination does increase (albeit ever so slightly) if you buy more than one ticket
Maybe a smaller scale example should help people understand?
There's a jar of 25 marbles (marbles here shall represent the number of combinations in the lotto), each numbered 1-25. Your objective is to guess which one number marble will be picked out of the 25 (like hitting the right combination). If you wager for one number (like buying one ticket), your odds of getti

Is there any site for an Odds/Even Analyzer?
Their frequencies are higher, because there are more of them. If you only played 2 odds, 3 evens, and I only played 0 odds/ 5 evens, your group would hit more, because your group has more number combinations overall.
If we both have the same budget we have the same odds. But even theoretically - if you played ever 2O/3E and I played every 0O/5E then even though you'd hit the JP more often, I'd play less numbers overall.
The % column in your example indicates the percent of combin
