Not impressed with the new ones. It is Monday and I was happy to find them early but $15 on 3 $5's plus 4 more $5's and 3 $20's on the $20's mean junk. Didn't and usually don't bother looking at odds but I'm not eager to try more. 3 times value isn't a good amount or start. Give them a few days with results like these..... Cheesy prizes on release...lots of duds too. Hoping your areas are better. Blah...maybe tomorrow. lol

In my view, an on-line ticket purchase / subscription is far safer than the traditional paper ticket. Many of which are thin paper printed on with heat sensitive ink. While paper chars at a few hundred degrees, it's possible the numbers could be unreadable. So even if one protects their tickets in a fire resistant safe, the tickets may still be seriously damaged due to the high heat adversely affecting the paper and ink. As for the public at-large, many players don't understand the basics of statistics; much folklore. Can't fault the lottery on that. However, player ignorance makes pulling the wool over their eyes easier. Heck, some readers here, even after much explanation, don't fully understand the issue you're pointing out. The Florida lottery launched a new scratch off ticket on 2/24/15 called 10,000,000 Florida Cash or something like that. The advertising stated there were 4 winners of 10 million and 46 winners of one million as the top prizes, along with over 11 million prizes! . Every press release the lottery put out and even the press release posted on the Florida Lottery website as late as Friday, March 20, 2015 announcing a million dollar winner indicates prizes based on the 4 10 million and 46 million doll

If the Mega is over 50 Mil then we play it.
