The concept behind this game was not bad. I am personally attracted to a game that offers greater odds at a $1M prize vs astronomical odds at a $100M+ PB or MM prize (that you'll never ever win). This game tries to be too much. If it is modified it may be able to make a comeback. They need to ditch the Las Vegas show and use those funds to pay more million dollar prizes. Start and cap the top prize at $5M (fixed payout, no annuity) and make it much easier to win (1 in 30M vs 1 in 72M). Us

While I don't think the lottery playing public is stupid, many players just don't want to spend a lot of time and effort on understanding and playing any given game. IMHO, that's why QP's are the choice of the vast majority of players. QP's are fast and easy. I believe there are other MMC threads where I have addressed the issue of the raffle numbers, but I'll go ahead and restate some things. I've bought 4 tickets total since the beginning of the game. I'll continue to play it occasionally despite the lousy odds. Overall, the Monopoly game feels like a rip-off. Winning a Vegas trip is ok, but there's seemingly no guarantee of play - or maybe there is in a mini-game for lesser prizes?... but for how much?... Oh I realize my comments on the odds were all after the fact ! I am glad for the 14 big winners triggered by the jackpot win. I would assume their raffle-style wins are a lottery first in terms of multi-state games in the U.S. I noticed a few interesting tidbits: Since Florida and New York each got three winners, looking at the codes, in each case two of the tickets only differ in their last four digits.
