The Dragon Lady told us not to discuss raffles in Tn. She says they're stupid. I asked her why all the other states have them then. She said cuz they're stupid. I said that me and everybody I know would like to have a raffle. She said that's cuz you and everybody you know are stupid. Then she said she's thinkin' about puttin' an entrance ramp for the Blue Ridge Parkway through my holler. I don't think that's very good customer service.

So how will the draws be conducted? One thing I don't like of the raffles I've seen, is the winners are all picked behind the curtain by computer and just kind of show up, you never know the methodology. I read somewhere else that this will be computer draw also: A computer will pull the winning ticket numbers, Frizzi-Babb said. So will this affect the state's scorecard? Or, they could do a two stage hybrid draw, pulling the finalists by computer, and then a live raffle manual env

A lotto game needs to be sized properly for the player base. When multi-states came in, that took away players from local state games. Revenue dropped, rollovers more common and rollover increments smaller. A smaller matrix may be needed. Or they need to enhance by upping the total payout above 50%, adding extras and powerplay as some have done, or other features such as raffles and replay entries. If the games don't evolve, they become stale and sales drop even more. Look at Ohio Classic

What Jammy fails to realize is that things can be BOTH ways, random AND non-random at the same time. With the exception of the very first pick-3 drawing, there is a 65.7% chance at least one of the digits from the previous drawing will repeat. There is 72% chance all three digits will be different too. The reason it is a random drawing is because only one three digit number will be drawn, but that doesn't change the fact that number will either be 1 of 720 numbers or 1 of 280 numbers. Does

Not really. I've been picking my own numbers. I picked the numbers that I won with on Friday morning. I live north of NYC and last Friday my wife and I had to drive into Brooklyn for the day, so while I was there I bought the Take5 promotion. Hey you guys!!!! What in the world is goin' on around here?????????? I left town for Massachusetts for three days and look what happened!!!! Lots of weirdo numbers come out! A double repeat! The 1 and the 2?????? Holy Cow! I never woulda seen that commin' in a million years. The weather in Mass was terrible...lots of rain... I saw some lotto joints, but I didnt play.
