To strategize or not to strategize? That is the question

Mass-Cash Like Game Coming to Pa ...
GameGrl ... Thanks, I was hoping the PA Lottery might kick the idea around. I should have made it more clear that I didn't want the Cash 5 game to be replaced or go away. I think the Pick 2 game is silly, playing dollars for so little return ... $50 top prize. I rather put those dollars on a game like Mass-Cash. I could do a lot more with $100,000 than $50. I just would like a decent jackpot game with good odds that only cost $1.00 ... I'm tired of all these $2.00 ticket prices. I lose twice

What threads entertain lottery officials the most?
I'm one of several thousand players who visit LP regularly. In the past ten years, every possible topic regarding lottery play has been brought up and hashed out several times over. The various discussions regarding 'odds' probably provide much amusement to folks who are paid good salaries to find ways to pick our pockets. One thing I think they've learned is that 'odds' don't scare folks. Any intelligent person who gambles ought to know that the 'odds' of winning anything is some

Can math and logic improve chances of winning a jackpot?
I pasted the correctly calculated odds above. Jackpots are paid for the extremes, so there are 2 jackpots. The odds don't change. When you play AON 1 to 12 is the same then 13 to 24. When you play a regular lotto, it is different, there is only one jackpot, that eventually is split because there are several winners. If you play pick 3, ten different lines, your odds are 10:1000, the notation 1:100 might be seen on a playslip. The scientific notation would be 0.01. Only one combinatio

If you had 10 bucks to bet...
Jimbo Why take someone elses work when I can do it on my own? What you don't understand is that it makes no difference if it's done with one machine or a thousand, you cannot produce a random number without some element of space, time, distance, movement, ect.... Without this you would have nothing but a counter, In a RNG P-5 lottery, each number can only be drawn once so some bias must be included and even and in a ball tumbler each ball that drops out has a effect on the rest. Hi Stack47 How can we give your math any credibility when you ignored the simple math of lotto/gambling games? What do you mean by WE , who is WE?
