Do some number combinations have better odds?
I'm sorry. When I prefaced my math comment above I used Font Size 3.
In Casino Talk your statement may be understood.
Maybe you need to see it in Font Size 5.
In Casino Talk your statement may be understood.
And I'm sure your cat will remind you that before you try to use your odds against of 5 to 1 in a mathematical probability calculation involving the probability of rolling a 5, you must first convert it to 1/6, or 0.1666666.
What does your cat think of your subset selecti

Do some number combinations have better odds?
I swear I don't understand why you folks are so concerned about 'odds' when there is little if anything anyone can do about them. They are what they are.
The balls are 'objects' being blown around or otherwise mixed in an enclosed vessel with an escape hatch. No outside force can affect which objects will escape and become the winning numbers.
Anyone with any sense at all knows that the values on the objects are not added, subtracted, divided, or multiplied in any way shape or form.

Fallacies, and two REAL ways of improving your chances
I wouldn't waste my money on his systems either. I got on his mailing list because at one time CoinToss mentioned him so I wanted to see what systems he was trying to sell. As I see it its costing him money to send me his newsletters and catalog when I have no intention of buying any of his systems. Of course you can just go his web site and get the same information but that's not costing him anything except potentially traffic.
A conspiracy theorist could say he was actually working for the

NY Lotto no winner
It usually takes the correct numbers to win.
I have been playing the 29 as a power number.
Got three 3/6 in the last month. Which is quite an achievement considering the odds, however the three dollar prize is quite a quick in the nuts.
And I am sticking with it.
29 all the way.
As a matter of fact I am thinking of a 4 power number wheel. 4 6 8 29

Fallacies, and two REAL ways of improving your chances
I wrote a lottery simulator program to test the premise for a 6/48 game. I created two test groups A B.
For each game 8 random tickets were generated for Test Group A and 8 random tickets were generated for Test Group B.
For Test Group A the 8 tickets had all 48 numbers in play or no duplicate numbers.
For Test Group B the 8 tickets were just randomly generated with at least 1 duplicate number in play but in general had alot more duplicates in play.
The following picture depicts the

Post your scratch ticket results
I found a Pot O Gold with a pot symbol for $25 ticket number 006. Not too happy about the payouts on the symbols, they
have a 5x for getting a leprechaun and then the pot of gold that wins $25 - if a leprechaun is uncovered, I suppose the
chances of getting $5 x 5 are very good.....Grrr.....still amounts to $25. I think the pot of gold could have been $100 but
then again, the odds of getting one would be awful.
Pfftt...tried 10 of the 9's tickets, got 2 matching 9's for $1 each. B

Do some number combinations have better odds?
Of course the play of one player will affect the outcome of a specific hand, but it won't affect the ODDS of any outcome on any given hand, so you don't have to worry about it.
You don't get it because you never played the game. You've never had a big bet in circle, double up and watch some fool take make a stupid play. Use some of your math knowledge and figure the difference between winning $200 and losing $200.
you can look it up on plenty of websites, books, etc. to confirm it

Do some number combinations have better odds?
Ronnie316,
If they are so well informed, why then do they persist in pursuing what they know to be impossible?
As I see it, there are 2 ways you might stop perceiving superiority in my posts.
I could purposely dumb them down for you, which I'm not comfortable with.
Or, you could raise your IQ. Since you are sure you can increase your odds when playing a game based upon random processes, I imagine you could devise a way to do that as well.
Give it a shot!

Do some number combinations have better odds?
You may gamble, but your age has nothing to do with your understanding of the math behind the games (which after all, is all these games are.) I'm not going to argue with you about blackjack, something I've studied extensively. If you honestly believe other people's play affect your odds, you are suffering from gamblers' fallacy, pure and simple. I'll tell you something for a fact. No profitable blackjack player cares if other players hit their 14 against a 3. It's a bad move, but it doesn't mat
