Phitality 101
Yes I know the feeling about too many ideas flooding in. Too many ideas can often get in the way of a good workout or a good win. But I am willing to take a tackle at your game also. (Pick five/six) with simpest theories first. Feel free to jump in. My enthusiasm often waxes and wanes, but I always try to get back on the horse. What is great is that this method of visualizing random really can break down the odds in the larger more ominous games . Which can invariably lead to confide

FL Fantasy 5 for January 26
Result: 6-7-9-17-24 29 number group had all five numbers. Single numbers were among 3,7,6,9,2,5,4,8. There was more odds then evens. 40 numbers group had only 3 hits, number 24. Next time I'll post two 4o numbers groups for picking. Amazingly enough, number 24 was in my message, when I mentioned January 24. :)

There needs to be...
A sticky on every subforum that warns people of the dangers of using all the player created systems for playing the lottery here. It's really sad if some unsuspecting person comes in hoping to win the lottery and gets tricked by some of these systems here. I understand that most people aren't sharing their ideas to harm others, but without proper understanding of the facts, some people might end up spending and losing a lot more than they can afford to. I think it should be a respons

Do some number combinations have better odds?
Because if you do match one bonus ball, there's also a chance that you matched MORE than one bonus ball. It sure looks like the chart says 1 in 76 for matching 0 + 1 and gives the chances of matching 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 numbers with the bonus number too. What I don't understand is how the clearly mathemetically illiterate are going to make convuluted arguments that they no are non sense. Take it up with Mega Millions because it's

Do some number combinations have better odds?
I was doing some hard research, and I found a thread from 2011. That was a post by jammy4164. I just didn't do the usual highlighting because his name was there. Now I am not all too familiar with Ion, but his FFG theory is interesting, and I think he has some on point theories into picking correct numbers such as anticipating skips strings. I also understand that Ion is a great programmer, but I have not used his programs, so jippy4164 can talk bad all he wants. Now when spammy 4164

Do some number combinations have better odds?
Greenfox, It's admirable that you would encourage a child who shows promise in mathematics to investigate unsolved problems. However, there are many unsolved problems that have much more potential for learning than attempting to increase one's odds playing a Lotto game. This is NOT an unsolved problem! It was solved hundreds of years ago in Europe. Such efforts are in the same category as trying to build a perpetual motion machine. My suggestion would be to point a gifted young person to sour

Do some number combinations have better odds?
Sorry Adobea78, For once, Ronnie316 may have gotten someting PARTLY correct. I did not claim that studying a scaled down Lotto game would lead to better odds of winning. What I DID say is that a scaled down Lotto model would provide Ronnie316 with an opportunity to prove that his selection ideas would do that. From what you've posted here I suspect you would at least agree with that. Thus far, Ronnie has elected not to take advantage of the demonstration opportunities that a simple (5,2) Lott

You're going to want to include these in your next PB #'s
The 1s decade has been out for 6 straight draws. Highly unusual for this many consecutive draws to not include at least one # from 01-09. I would recommend selecting AT LEAST one of these numbers to include in your self-picks for Wednesday's powerball drawing. Although one never truly knows when a 1s number will return, the odds are beginning to stack in its favor. Out of these numbers I am personally not going to choose 01, 03 or 07 because: A number ending in 1 has been in the past 3 str
