Checking pre-test drawings
RJOh, this is the most sensible and reasonable response to the OP's question...PERIOD!! Also, thanks for being str8 forward about it. I've mentioned several times already on how I won on Pick 3 during the pre-draws and ended up losing on the official draw. I'd be willing to bet that many others have as well but just haven't said anything, or, just aren't members here at LP. Hey, it HAS TO HAPPEN and this is why lotteries conduct those BS pre-draws! Pre-draws are a legal way of beating the pla

Take5 isnt fair
Take5's expected rate of return on 1st prize should be 575757 / 4 = $144k;However, it hardly ever reaches $100k. Mostly hovers at $50k, and often jp is split by 2 or even 4 resulting in $12-25k. Sometimes, it reaches $75k+, if only 1 jp winner. Pick10 aint fair either as 8.9m / 4 $500k. But both have higher low prizes than MM, PB, Lotto, SM. Numbers and Win4 payout fair amounts if playing box 0.50 as odds / 4 = payout. However, when MM and PB reach $45m, it's fair. I play Lotto when jp

Cover-up alleged in Arkansas Lottery
Please excuse me for not being so quick on the draw here, but it seems to me that the retailer was actually trying to help. From what I can see, he insisted on the ticket(s) which contained prizes...and the customer ended up recovering $20 instead of losing $20 altogether. So, we complain about getting our money back with the very good possibility of winning a large prize? Wow! I mean, the clerk didn't know for certain that the tickets were all winners as one of them was a loser, in fact. The

MM's megaplier
MM: lump sum -72% PB: lump sum -62% Now that PB costs $2 you get 5 lines for $10, but 10 lines of MM for $10. Also, the cash option is higher since you pay twice for a PB ticket. Meaning, given old PB odds and cost at $1, then better to play it instead of MM... notwithstanding MM's higher 2nd prize. Personally, I preferred to have a choice of both $1 of PB and powerplay for $2, not $3. So anyone taking lump sum should go for MM instead of PB. I would not play MM's megaplier as Swe

Rudy's Stop & Shop in Rosenburg, Texas
Okay, on last night's news, I saw that this convenience store was in the spotlight...BIGTIME. According to the report, this store produces the absolute most, and, highest percentage of BIG winners...PERIOD. I've heard and been told about it but, I just wrote it off as hype a long time ago and it seems to be proving me wrong. After some research, I've learned that several million dollar winners, many, many $1K winners, and countless $100-$500 winners have been realized at that one location. Th

Do most people who win the lottery jackpots buy just one Ticket or multiple tickets?
Hello SG , This style of topic has, and, will continue to be all the rage here at LP. After lots of research on past winners of all types of jackpots and scratch-offs, I'm thoroughly convinced that with such games it's much better to just stay within your budget and allow what's destined to happen just happen. See, there is such a thing as just trying too hard to accomplish a particular thing and purchasing two hand fulls of tickets isn't going to increase your odds of winning by very mu

Do most people who win the lottery jackpots buy just one Ticket or multiple tickets?
Hey shyguitar, People win buying one ticket and they win buying multiple tickets, doesn't matter. I buy one with my own numbers and one QP for every draw. Buying more than that would give me x more chances to win but with odds of over 175 million to one that I won't win on every ticket I buy, I don't see much of an edge gained by buying more. I look at the whole thing as a shot in the dark. Somebody will get lucky eventually and there's two chances in 175 million that it might be
