NY Scratch-off Discussion
and yeah ive played almost 10k probably on the $30 tickets not including the small wins which i just bought more. id rather them just eliminate all the smaller wins, and just print far less tickets OR double the jackpot prizes. nobody plays a $30 game to win $30 back, or $40, lol.
the NY site doesnt tell you how many tickets are printed per game, NJ site tells you exactly how many. but just estimating, if there were 6mil top prizes at 3.5mil to 1 odds, that means that there are around 21milli

In Sarasota I use Publix (4 different stores) Sweetbay (2 stores) A couple of 7-11's. A mix of gas stations. Sunoco, Shell, Citgo and some discount stations. Sometimes if I'm in Venice I'll hit 3 or 4 different places on the way to SRQ. When I hit the 5 $500's in early April I went to Sweetbay when it opened and bought 10 - #000 to 10. I was lucky it was the end of the roll with the 11 bought. From there I hit a Publix - was lucky again as the machine had #000 to 10. I bought the 11 tickets. Wen

Why have a lottery if you dont want anyone to touch it...
A good percentage like half the lotto players [that s 50% of lotto players] chase the lottery because they will like to live off the lottery
It's probably more like 99% of lotto players chase a dream they can live off the winnings. You can't win if you don't play so the only question is how much is that dream worth.
for example many people will like for example to win pick4 straight every weekend and live off of that
If you need $250,000 a year to live off, salute but that makes for

Does Mathematical Innumeracy foster superstitions and support the belief in them?
Came up with a good idea that pertains to the lottery, math and intelligence so as to stay with the
trashing. Design and build a wireless lottery betslip printer. This could be built with very few tools
a solderless breadboard and a few parts taken from an old junk printer. Add $50.00 in electronics,
wire and a few other odds and ends and your ready to begin. Instead of steppers maybe use regular
dc motors which would require one to design encoders to track the travel. Hmmm, sounds

Of Cat Washing and Backtesting
If you ever figure this out, you are going to wish you could erase your posts in this thread.
The fact that you can't see how liberal Bluejay's offer is, is telling. The house edge in the casino games he's dealing with is slim, compared to the 50% of the lotteries. Playing these games is more akin to playing Pick-3 with a $950 payout for a straight win. As I tried to show you in another thread, with graphs and all, during short terms of play, the house will be beaten, by chance. It's over the

Welp I opted for a mixed batch:
7- Pure gold- (007 thru 013)- Won 20$ on 011- pathetic when I put in 70 and get back 20...
10- 7ups ( im hooked on this game because at least I can do the 2nd draw entry). Won a whoppin free ticket on #120...
4- BIrthday cash (020-023) Won $5.00 so overall I'm on a losing streak....
Traded my winnings in for the 5$ Bingo game ( which warranted me, 5 losing tickets!!!) 051-055. Why do I even try to play a game that has pathetic odds and I have yet to ge

Correct way to win any states pick 3
(Meant to quote my pairs posted)
Evening result 483. Had the 38 pair, but as you can see it wouldn't be too effective unless you played online. It's only really effective when you can eliminate all but 4 or less pairs.
And yeah, Ridge, I hate when people post those magic methods that gauruntee 2 of 3 if singles and claim that they give a 1 in 8 chance if singles are drawn, or when people post that 20 pair wheel that will always have one right without doubles without explaining ho

Visual non-statistical sampling / grouping / chains
Here is something that I often use. Look at a draw history for your game and notice the draws where
the first number in the set is 10 or greater. Many times the next draw will also be above 10 and if not
then it will normally happen within 3 draws. This won't win any JP's by it's self but can improve your
conditional odds by removing 9 numbers from the possible choices. I track digits so for me I would most
often play a decade digit 1 in the first number. This may not work for the bi

How do you know if your Lottery System is getting better ?
You compare a random draw with figuring out how to start a car?
You are completely out of your mind.
Now, if we had the SAME five numbers to work with: that MIGHT lead to some common deductions, more along the line of 'what is due', but I am willing to bet most folks on here (or in the real world) do NOT CONSISTENTLY get even two of the white balls 'every time'.
If someone DOES get all six numbers, it will be an act of deduction AND and act of 'luck'.
If you play the same set of numb
