Elderly woman loses $300K to Jamaican lottery scam
So what is the FBI going to do about this growing trend? It seems they have an idea which rocks to look under but does nothing. Taking the letters to the post office or to the postal inspectors is a joke. All those joke ers are going to say is throw it away. It is obvious the powers that be that can eradicate most of these scams deign not to intercede on behalf of the general public. Once again it is the family members who can prevent these stories from becoming a commonplace in the headli

Lucky and unlucky Scratch-off ticket numbers
Hi CarHauler, Yes, I often like to buy more of the new games. But at least here in PA, the new games haven't been very good of late. The most I have won on Spooky Loot is $8, and Money Money Money has done very little again. I would try the new ones, though. The Lottery can be very streaky. 2 or even 3 winners in a row or a few wins in an area, and then a bunch of losers. I don't like it, but it's what they do. If you have gotten a big winner, I'd try the same store again. A couple work

My digit system for pick-5 or pick-6 lottery
The above should read that the overall odds of winning a prize that pays more than $1.00 should be 1 in 100 and not 1 in 1000. And the the percent of sets that contain a winning prize $1.00 = 1 percent. Left the zero off the 5610 when making the cal- culation, my calculator is getting old and the buttons hang sometimes. I should have caught this before the copy and paste. I was up very very late that night and should have waited tell morning to proof read it first. RL

How Many Tickets Per Draw Are Necessary To Win?
they could make the current batch of games 1c entry, by doing dsomething like make it drawnb order so its combinations not permutations. they could have a seprate jackpot. for the penny game, and it may jackpot for 2 or 3 years before being won. but think of the wheels you could play for a penny a line? $1 gets you 100 lines hahaha. 23 429 886 480 to one i think are the odds for the current 5/59+ 1/39 game if u made it drawn order. 59 also it ciould forgo the lower tier prizes. so u

jimmy The above statement was the end product of some bad editing. Sorry for the delay getting back to you on this one, I am in the middle of making some changes and have been offline for a while. I first want to thank you for pointing this out, it is misworded and I take the blame for this one. I would however like to challenge the coin toss as having a 50/50 odds for each toss as I once saw a coin land on it's edge. RL

Pick 3 First Position Indicator system
Try this..... just play any 3 digits that way....... say 1,2,3, ......and play them all of the time. Unless you have a really bad run of really stupid luck the odds are that one of them will show around every 3 draws. Remember, however, .....stupid stuff happens a lot and in streaks in Pick 3.......but on average you will be OK. In the next 3 draws one of those should show in first position....... most of the time. Thats because those 3 starter digits represent one third

What's with NY Sweet Million??
Yeah, I buy my tix in a lot of different stores. I've bought tickets in so many lotto joints that I cant possibly tell you how many. It has to be well over 100, maybe even 200. When I'm out of town (but still in New York) I make it a point to look for a lottery sign in a convenience store window. I've bought upstate, down state, Long Island and everwhere in between. I always buy when I'm in Manhattan, but I'm not down there too much lately. I live in Dutchess County so I ride Metro-North to get

jIMMY I just call them as I see them. I started this post to give others a method of selection. You have taken it upon yourself for whatever reason, the primary of which seems to be a bad case of I AM A JACKASS to fill post with information that means nothing to me. Let me ask you a question that should solve all your preceptions concerning the lottery. Where does the lottery get all it's the money for the JP's? I have another hint for you that should help if that was not enoug

TN Pick 5 ending; New game to replace it
While buying a few Pick 5 tickets last night I asked the clerk about the game. He said it will be replaced and showed me some kind of official looking laminated print out from the TN lottery describing what will be called: Tennessee Cashball Or the like. It will be 5 numbers, just as pick 5 is now, EXCEPT, it will have a 'Tennessee Cashball' (a 6th number) just like the friggin powerball and mega millions! I didnt look at the document very long, so I dont know the odds or how high

Adam Try to time the plays when using digit 3, If you can do this with any accuracy then it would be very much to your advantage. Look at the difference between 1-2 and 1-2-3. I would include 1-2 in every drawing and add 3 on days based odds given for the overall. Meaning if digit 3 was out 2 or more days I would include it for sure. RL
