Are low numbers or high numbers better with payout?
Conventional wisdom says that although the odds are 1 in 5 tickets is a winner that there also may be only one winner in a 15 ticket consecutive string, which means as few as two winners in 30 tickets is possible. That's how my luck goes with scratchers. It makes no difference what ticket number I buy. If I buy a string of 28 tickets numbered from 2 to 29, the winners will have been number1 and number 30. LOL That's why I rarely buy them anymore. Good luck to all you scratcher player

A Big round of thanks from me too, fellows!! Been staying with due pairs that are contained in your picks, and bada bing....the 03 is second most due, and just like that got it str8 just following the picks! That makes 3 hits this week just using your key digit picks that contain due pairs! Outrageous odds buster going on here! On the lookout - 37 (very ready), doubles 77, 22, 44, also 68, and 26. Good Luck to All! Alan

Something that Occurs in Every State: So Why havent you won...
some of you expect a magic wand... We expect accurate information! You're correct, using each digit only once, 5 digits do in fact create 5 box combinations, however you highlighted doubles and three triples in your example. To be accurate (and honest), if you're going to include doubles as wins , you have to include the cost of playing all the doubles too. That brings the total to 35 combinations. you only need to win Pick4 like once a week not EVERYDAY I did a quick count and c

Senator says Tenn. lottery scholarship fund in trouble
Take their new 2 dollar scratcher Lucky 8's and Aces for instance. 4 28,888 dollar prizes! 58 588 dollar prizes! 229 288 dollar prizes! TN has over 4700 retailers the prize level stinks The odds of winning 1 of the top 3 prizes is way up there. A player would be nuts to play this game.

Would you play 90 to win
...And the less you bet, the less chance you have of actually hitting all while sacrificing consistency. I play str8. How do you play? I'd be willing to bet you don't even know what kind of hit you'll even get, do you? See, you're tryin' to make ALL THE MONEY every time you play and probably end up with either nothing or very little. I chose a consistent lesser profit which easily overcomes the odds of losing. Even with occasional losses, I still remain ahead due to the minimum safe profit (M

Would you play 90 to win
tiggs, spending $5 or $10 on this game isn't feasible in any way what so ever...if you're serious about playing. For a long shot in the dark, yeah, go on down to BILLY PAUL'S GET IT ALL for some Quick Picks!! However, when you start to REALLY understand odds and numbers the way dr65, 'Hawk, and many others here do, you realize that you need to have a system along with at least reasonable funds to give yourself a fighting chance in these games, buddy. This is why I stress on conducting dry

help whit a new GAME.. please master. @rhoj LATTERN joker17 Bobp.. and others
Let's see... you have to select a red combination set and match it with the right blue combination set to win. If there are 278 possible combos for red and 278 combos for the blue, then you have to match the right two combos together to win. A blackout win would cost you $77,284.00 or the jackpot odds. I don't have the exact math here. Just an example. Anyway, I think the game has been well thought out and isn't going to be easily broken. If you look at the 2by2 results on the powerb

I found this to be interesting in research
I'm just now replying to this question because I have been carefully verifying the information. It seemed suspicious to me as well. I have verified all the Win 4 results against the numbers officially reported by the NY Lottery, and they are accurate. The lottery's records in their mainframe show quad-zeros (0-0-0-0) for Win 4 Evening for: April 3, 1985 April 6, 1985 April 10, 1985 April 13, 1985 April 18, 1985 Obviously, the odds of this actually happening are beyond astronomical.

Shared $18 Million Jackpot, Slim Pickings? - What's Your Opinion: Fate, Random, ...?
I'm just curious what the rest of you think about this situation... On December 27, 2000 there were two different winners of the PowerBall, one in Delaware (anonymous family group of 9) and one in Louisiana (individual chose personal #'s not QP). The numbers that won it were: 15, 22, 24, 32, 39 with PB of 18. About seven years prior, on 4/3/1993... those exact same numbers were drawn (down to the PB #). So far, this is the only time all 5 matched with a winner. One other had no winner.
