Tonight's headline: Decetives arrest man who stole lottery tickets Decetives? Maybe the Fort Myers News-Press should use a spellchecker! (yes, I make mistakes all the time, but I'm not a journalist writing headlines!) Anyway, it was on the 11:00 news too. A clerk stole 200 books of scratch-off tickets beginning in March 2006 (totaling $125,000) and cashed in about $12,000 in prizes. Maybe this should tell us something about the odds!

Monitoring lottery results only tells you what has happened, not what can happen, and a couple of hundred results are meaningless when there are millions of possible outcomes. As John notes, for lotteries with an even number of numbers the chances of all odd or all even numbers will be the same. The odds for all numbers in the bottom half or all numbers in the top half will also be the same. You can split the numbers up in any fashion you want, but it will always be the same. You're looking

My prediction came true. I posted the above on 11/1/07, and on 11/04/07 195 (915 above) hit a 6-way box on the CA lottery's mid day pick 3 game called daily 3 , it hit for $39. I didn't use pete's system, or any other system to do this (Ultra Random Prediction System (c) was a joke BTW). As for Pete proving his system works, he is posting ten 3 digit combination predictions, the predictions are unique to each state, and he is getting hits so it does have credibility.
