It's a little tricky, though ... even without the power ball number (or the power play) ... 3 of 5 on PowerBall pays better than 3 of 6 on HoosierLottery $7 vs $3 4 of 5 on PB pays better than 4 of 6 on HL $100 vs ~$40 5 of 5 on PB pays better than 5 of 6 on HL $200,000 vs ~$1,000 You have to get that top-dog prize on HL to make the switch from PB to HL worthwhile on an odds-only basis.

This is an interesting race. Four horses have morning line odds at 5/1 or less. The other eight horses have 10/1 or higher. Of the four favorites, none of them figure to be in the top three by my ratings. New here to the site and my first post is just whining lol. In recent weeks I've been playing the hoosier lotto just because the jackpot is big now. otherwise I wouldn't mess with it. On the last drawing I matched 4/6. When I saw this I thought Hey that's gotta be pretty decent win I have here. So I check the their website to see how many weeks of groceries it will cover. wooooooow! 40 washingtons! disgusting. also kinda funny that the pick 3 has better odds but a $500 payout.

It happens every now and then. Maybe once a year. No need to look at the stats for it. It just happens. S#@$ Happens! I consider something like that happening just like playing triples or the date of a drawing . You either do it after every drawing or go with the better odds and Do Not Play It / Them ! It just does not happen that often! Not worth the extra buck as far as I am concerned any ways.
