I have 4 Michigan Super raffle tickets :) looking forward to the drawing in a couple weeks. Looks like we are going to have a little break on the odds since most likely this will not be a sell out with such slow sales. I also have 10 Idaho holiday raffle tickets. Rollover # 33 has arrived and the Measly Millions is currently standing at $680M/$318.2M CASH for Fridays draw. It would also grant the Lottery the ability to deny a claim for a winning lottery or sports wager ticket if it was found to have been purchased in relation to a bulk transaction. I don't agree with this. It's the lottery's job to shut down so-called bulk ticket retailers, not collect all this money and then deny payment. It kind of feels like beating a dead horse but I'm not surprised that the jackpot for Mega Millions isn't growing as quickly, even after the Powerball jackpot was won. I totally agree that it's people who make things a headache. If I were to win something like Powerball, the majority would go into laddered treasury bills, with some in an S P 500 index fund. The last thing I would do is start my own business or invest in any sort of risky business venture. People go broke because they think this sudden windfall of money has given them some sort of insight on how to invest, start or run a business. I do chuckle at the MM statement they put in their news release on 3/25/25: The game will feature bigger prizes at every non-jackpot prize tier, better odds to win the jackpot, better odds overall, larger starting jackpots, and faster-growing jackpots. Starting at $50 Million didn't seem to energize much needed sales to support that claim. Let's see if the sticker shock of 150% increase wears off after a year or as one poster put it, they have a few runs that go for 30 drawings or more .

Yep, just stopped at a Kwik Star in Waterloo IA and got an extra PB with the Power Play. I asked the Clerk how MM sales have been going. She says they hardly sell those anymore. This is a high customer traffic store. Lots of people not buying MM.

Thanks for the MM update. Hmm, interesting, ... the clerk who said that their sales for the MM have fallen off a cliff and he hardly sells any on his 3-11 shift ... . It shows... what a sad set of events. Could be a press conference is coming? We suspect a change in the works? MM, MM, MMMM... Yeuh.
