Florida Scratch Offs - Post Pictures if posible
To add to something you said, there's an even easier way than the suggestion of scratching each one and scanning them out. They already have an option to activate books and settle books. All they need to do is add an option to 'destroy' (or whatever you want to call it) books. That option would only exist at the main office, or at a terminal at SG. All destroyed books get sent there. When a book comes in that is partially sold, the person (one person) whose job it is will do it the same way reta

Publix in Orlando Metrowest the scratcher vending machine out of order so I get in line and an older man in front me hands the clerk a large stack of pick 2, 3, 4 tickets and asked her to check them for winners. I said wow how many did you buy and he said he buys 40 per day. I walked out. Totally rude to ask a clerk to check that many tickets and hold on the line that long. There is a scanner on the counter we can use to check them yourself. In any case, I didn't get any new scratchers today. Ma

Anyone Look for Scratchers from the Trash ??
Hi, new member here, perusing the forums, and YES I also do the same. Right now there is a second chance here in Illinois for the Holiday instant tickets. One particular gas station near me always have several. They never say a thing when I dig through the cans. In fact they also have a can directly next to the vending machine INSIDE the gas station...always full of them Always thought that anything thrown in trash would presumed to be abandoned.
I look forward to exploring the rest of the s

Played through 2 more books of the Full of 500s. $115/$300, and $125/$300. I guess I got really lucky with that one book that had two $500 winners.
Bought two $25 World Class Cash, won $200 and $30 from Publix vending machine.

What people normally do with the vending machine tickets is scrap then scan the barcode at the bottom of the tickets. If they do that, they don't need to scratch the rest of the ticket off and ALL the tickets in the trashcan are losers.
That being said, if you do have a $600+ winner that you have to file for taxes, you can use these trashcan tickets to write off your taxes up to your winning amount.

If you found a unscratched lottery ticket...
If you found a unscratched valid lottery ticket in the vending machine.....
What would you do?

Post your scratch ticket results
Sunday would have been the 8th wedding anniversary for me and my husband, who passed away in December. I miss his so much--but one thing we did was play scratch-offs and split our winnings. On Sunday, I went to our favorite grocery store, and since we always gave each other lottery tickets as part of anniversaries, birthdays and other special occasions, I bought a $30 from the grocery store vending machine. WOW! I won $1,000. We went to SC on our honeymoon in 2009 and won $500 there on a scratch

What would your answer be if you were asked by the news media?
The NY lottery posts the method of play of all jackpot and second place winners so they won't ask me whether I SP or QP.
If they ask what I'll buy with my winnings I'll be honest, I'll buy a coke from the vending machine.

Idaho Lottery-winner secrecy bill headed to House floor
The biggest pay off on a lottery vending machine is probably when it topples on you.
I wish you much luck for Vegas, been planning a trip for 4 years now and always had to cancel. Do me a favor, play 1 3$ spin on Megabucks directly at the airport. Wouldn't that be something, winning after 2 minutes on the ground?

Significant changes regarding Scratch off tickets needed within the Florida Lottery.
Also one more thing I forgot about: Vending Machines!
When the Lottery decides to stock the new games in vending machines, some games have to be removed due to space. And I'm assuming when they are removed that means they get destroyed. How many vending machines are in the State of Florida? I bet you a good chance the early prize in $10 HG might have gotten destroyed from sitting in a vending machine.
