No, I believe everybody will get the same multiplier that is drawn after Pick 6 numbers - 2x, 3x, 4x or 5x, similar to Powerball and Megamillions. However, many people don't know that under the current New Jersey Lottery Pick 6 game there is only one 5x ball, two 4x balls, three 3x balls and four 2x balls. While its never easy for change to be accepted/embraced, sometimes it's dictated by certain conditions.......That change should be made with those that it impacts the most in mind. In this case the change affects us, the gamblers. We had an LP member that had a recently drawn numbers system using 23 numbers that matched all five drawn numbers. However that was before tickets were $2 and 70 numbers. Looking at the odds against winning something or even the odds against just matching one number should be enough understand buying one QP and hope you were in the right place at the right time might be the smartest way to play .

500x the cash sales started out very strong. As of March 15th, 3.1 million tickets sold (based on odds) in 2.5 weeks. One million dollar prizes have caught up to the odds. 1 mil dollar wins should be roughly be half of total count of 50k wins. 1k dollar claimers are still lagging. Now that the hype is over I expect sales to sizzle down like other high price tickets.

It might be worth it if you're buying enough that your chances of winning the jackpot are non-negligible, really it depends on the person. If you bought 1,000 Powerball tix (all different combos), your odds of hitting the jackpot would be 1 in 292,201. Heads up second chance fans...looks indeed like there's one in the works for the latest X-Series, including the new $50 500X coming at the end of the month. Speaking of the 500X, if I'm reading the burst on the left side of the ticket correctly I think it says something akin to Best odds for $1M . It's crazy how long the 066 straight has been out, since 01/23/2010, 8764 draws, odds against this happening - 6428:1, approaching the 10000:1 odds of playing a Pick 4 number once and winning.
