I rarely buy scratchers but I do like to look at the odds and the guarantees. Most packs will guarantee 40% - 50% of the cost of a pack. 27.5% is criminal. I would never buy a ticket from a game with that low of a guarantee. I play all of the jackpot draw games, but the one benefit of a scratch ticket that pays out a million dollars or more is the odds are much better than Lotto or PB and MM, along with the overall odds of winning any prize. You know, I'm really thinking about dropping PB and MM and playing All or Nothing for $1 million. It would cost $8 to play for a million, so why? Well, the odds to hit a million on PB or MM are 1 in 12 million+ for PB, and 1 in 13 million+ for MM. Odds on AoN jackpot odds are 1 in 2,704,156. Yeah, still high, but a lot less than the other two. Maybe they are not applying any strategies to increase their odds of winning, then again even applying some strategies the odds for Powerball and Mega Millions is still so high. Maybe they should focus on smaller games.

Agreed I was shocked that the odds on $100 and $500 wins are so very un-gold rush like. I usually count on a new $20 gold rush every few years to chase some $500 wins with great odds. Bought 5 in a row from publix machine today only got $30 back so not a swimming start but maybe one of those many 5mil and 1mil prizes may make its way to these here parts of orlando which seems to be barren for a longer than usual period...Happy chasing

Hi lee57, here in Fl the reorders have prize odds the same as the initial order. Usually there's either a 100%, or 50% reorder. Again, the overall odds for hitting any given prize level is unchanged. Hope that answers your question!

From the moment they change the powerball from a dollar I stopped playing, I felt it was better to stick with $1 ticket games as the odds were a bit more in your favor and easier to win. Giving up a dollar for bigger odds of winning didn't make sense to me, even when they paid higher jackpots.

Just out of curiosity, why aren't you also posting predictions for the Power ball on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays? PB has virtually the same matrix as MM with nearly the same odds. (Oh right, I forgot you don't believe the posted odds...) Do you also believe the people who run PB are stalking you? (As point of fact, no lottery organization is stalking you.) Is your lottery program not calibrated to handle an extra number?

Wow, Powerball gets even worse. So, with the Power Play and Double Play feature here in Florida, one ticket is $4. And the Double Play $1 extra feature top prize is only $10 Mil for odds of 1 in 292,201,338. Overall odds for any prize is 1 in 24.87 for the base game and the Double Play feature. Not good.

Thanks for this ......I love seeing the odds on these type of games. Whenever it finally comes to my state I will be a constant player. The front 4 and back 4 odds are a lot better than I imagined. I will be calling my state lottery office very soon.
