GA 300 MM dollar Gold Rush: rip off ?
Just checking with GA players on this one -
Have you played this new game and if so have you won anything decent ?
Personally, I have won $15 here, $20 there and numerous free tickets, and did manage one $ 50 win, but overall it seems to me that GA wants to collect the $300 million before giving any out. The odds are 1.139 but I have seen as many as 6 in a row come off the roll with absolutely nothing. That really s**ks on a $10 ticket...
According to the website, there have been two 2.

Powerball (moneyball) or Powerplay
What do you think is the best way to invest your extra dollars into Powerball? Use it for the multiplier or cover more powerball(red ball) numbers.
I find this conflicting.
If you get the multiplier correct you double your win.
But if you get the powerball correct you move up to a different win bracket.
Someone give me the odds.
Therefore, PB (powerball.com) is doing a 10x promotion for a limited time. I wonder why a limited time. They sucker us in more than we are and drop us at

Last day for Lotto South
Quote: Originally posted by DoubleDown on February 26, 2006Well, no one won last night's jackpot, so it looks like KY Floyd is correct- a lot of money is going back into the State's coffers.
I did hit 3 of 6 thanks to Califdude's predictions...

It looks like the total payout for Virginia and Georgia was almost 930 grand this time around, so that means they paid just under 465 grand from the jackpot prize pool. Evenallowing for the unlikely possibility that Kentucky's sales equal the

odds are reduced
I have enough knowledge of how probability actually works to understand that playing two 6/49 combos is parallel to playing only one combo for a game with 6,991,908 total outcomes. In the same way, if you break down all the Pick 4 numbers into groups of ten you will have 1000 groups that statistically perform and follow the exact probabilities for a 1 in 1000 game like pick 3.
That is exactly what I am trying to say.
As for another point
It has to be ignored because it is totall

If you are going to buy 46+ tickets.....
A simpler way to put it is this:
You have before you 46 tickets, each with one of the MB numbers 1 thru 46.
Look at the tickets: One of those 46 tickets has a 1 in 3.9 million chance of winning the jackpot 5 plus MB.
Which one will it be?
To gurantee a jackpot win and that you pick the right one out of the 46 you will have to bet 3.9 million on all 46 tickets.
With that we are back to the original odds.

Texas lottery players want to get rid of 'bonus ball'
The idiot who made the present system ... should be fired for his/her arrogant stupidity, wrote Paul Ferreira of Grand Prairie.
Larry Powell of Dallas came at the issue from an opposite point of view, but arrived at pretty much the same conclusion.
I don't know who came up with dropping the bonus ball, but I say let's run 'em for governor, Powell wrote. It's the best idea for the state since paving the roads.
When Lotto debuted in late 1992, players selected six numbers from 1 thr

LottoMike - 4 out of 5 AGAIN!
thanks greg.i looked at a lot of ball drawn states and noticed certain numbers i like.then i decided to trim the odds with my numbers by only going as high as 29 in my matrix.in all the 5/39 games i take all the 30's out.then after that i just play a pattern a numbers.
example-
5-13-18-24-29
5-13-19-24-28
5-14-19-23-28
kind of like a wheel in a way but i put my own distinct spin on it.......

random means it cannot be defined
Coins, dice, roulette balls, etc... have no memory . Over the course of thousands of rolls of a pair of dice, 12 will have been rolled once every 36 times, 36 combinations on a pair of dice and only one way to make a 12, a 6 and a 6.
But in no way, shape or form does that means if you were to stand at a crap table and wait for 35 consecutive rolls without a 12 that the next roll would be a 12 (people actually do this). It might be. It might show for the next four rolls in a row. Or it may no

Wait for the Best Bet....is the best bet
I dont mean to suggest that ..... 1. Play only the 3 coldest digits. Only.
Nope...
But... when 3 digits are all missing together for 4 or 5 days at the same time then the ......
Next days plays should all have at least ONE... at least one of those digits or the odds are much against you.
and .....yes sometimes all 2 or 3 cold digits come in at once.
P.S. The Pair Stats are great.

Another good bet.
Ga.midday for the last 12 draws in a row has hit as Green group double or Black group (zero/one group) ..... 12 draws in a row... 12 !
Today.... 798 hit from the RED Group ! 12 draws long was a very good time to bet on the Red group. It is a ruff odds bet for sure but..... consider it as a 1 n 3 bet that missed 12 times in a row!
Now how good did it look? LOL
Doubles are Green ..... ( O O ) (90)
