Lotto Architect feedback
Well, I can't really say you have exploited all of the capabilities available. Noone mention anything about draw filters, number groups, rejection filters so far. No-one mention wheels number groups= intelligent filtering so far. No-one mention algorithms and HCD reports. Noone have mention anything about the amazing printing system included. Noone mention... ok I'll stop here! So, what have you seen so far? 5% of the program? 2% of the program?I think most of you try to use it as a simple progr

Maine gears up for Powerball
Powerball tickets go on sale in Maine on FridayBarbara Lawrence works the pizza and sandwich counter at the Randolph Takeout, a convenience store with just about everything -- cold beer, graham cracker pie crusts, breath mints for the dog, blood worms and, yes, lottery tickets.Lawrence and her customers have been talking for weeks about the next big item for sale -- Powerball lottery tickets. I've already told everybody that I'll be the first winner from Maine, said Lawrence, 57, who's worked a

Weekly Crunch Report
LeRoy,I am working on the new CRUNCH Two. As a redesign it is still in the making. It will contain many new filter options, a slection of ouput and sort choices. There are no filter check boxed any longer, filter selection are done in the input fiield. So you only have to sekect the fitlers you like and need. Having the filters in the input and output field makes it easier to save the used filters for teh future. That of course required a new command structure, which contains a shorthand version

Minnesota couple claims Powerball lottery jackpot
Stillwater, Minnesota real-estate agent Jim Lagoon was playing golf last Thursday when his wife, Jackie, called via cell phone with mind-boggling news. She'd checked and rechecked that Powerball ticket she'd bought over the weekend. The couple had won the $21.1 million jackpot in the July 7 drawing.Lagoon, 42, put down the phone and played on, his excitement wreaking havoc on his game. He whacked balls out of bounds, in the water and into the woods. No matter. I can buy more golf balls, Lagoon s

Are Lotteries Rigged
I don't believe Government controlled Lotto's are rigged. The most important point for say a 6/49 Lotto is the equal opportunity of each number to be picked which determines the published odds. If a Computer picked the same number in this Lotto it is rejected and another choice is made. Distortions to do with the Computer Timer which I would be more concerned with really don't come into it because of the big time gaps between Draws. However, I can't say the same about your Pick3/4 which I tend to

Mathematical Sequences
Quote: Originally posted by your wrong on May 21, 2004So why all the wasted time trying? Trust me I do believe there is a possibility it can be done. But there are easier ways to accomplish the same result. The time isn't wasted if you are having fun... for some of us it's a hobby...I understand the odds and the risks... $1... big deal... (I am only after one pick... any more than 1 pick and your'e guessing or trapping). I also understand the returns... you only need to hit a mega-sized jackpot

Probability of Repeats, Subsequent Draws
Hello mate! I'll have to talk fast.... before all the blood rushes to my head. Not use to this southern hemisphere (Australia). LOL Colin, I don't play the larger games, Pick 3 is my hobby. I do enjoy your post very much and read this one on repeats and probability and became interested in asking you more about it. Have you ever tracked the position frequency for repeats? Not the numbers ....no....just the positions. In the 6/49 you are lucky in that your choices are of an even number(6). S

Virginia lottery winner badly in debt
Suzanne Mullins used her lottery winnings as collateral for a loan in 1998Eleven years after becoming a millionaire through the lottery, a Roanoke, Virginia woman has seen her fortune turn to debt.A circuit court judge ruled last week that Suzanne Mullins owes $154,146.50 in defaulted payments to a Florida company that gave her a loan six years ago with her lottery winnings as collateral. It seems an unlikely outcome for someone who once purchased a lottery ticket worth $4.2 million. But as with o

Alleged high-tech roulette scam "easy to set up"
An alleged high-tech roulette scam that saw three people walk out of a London casino with 1.3 million recently sounds too implausible even for a movie plot. But a physicist who developed a technology-based system that famously beat the wheel in the 1970s has told New Scientist that in theory it would have been fairly easy to carry out with a little know-how and the right tools. Two men and a woman were arrested on 16 March after raking in a huge win over two evenings. Suspicious casino staff are
