Agree, at the $500 level odds on the new game should for sure be better, but the odds for in-between wins look worse, so difficult to say which one comes out on top just eyeballing it. If I'm bored again this weekend maybe I'll try doing the numbers and comparing them, esp since the book count for the new game should become available.

I agree 100% with your statement - I have this theory about wining a jackpot- actually it's my scientific wild guess - It's that if I play three numbers that like to come out together, and they actually do come out, and I get real lucky with the two other numbers, then I'll claim at least a part of a jackpot. My theory probably stinks, but who knows? G5 if you are able to do this (play 3 numbers the you know will hit together) and they come out you have reduced your odds to 1 in 10 !!!!!

You watch: with MM PB jackpots being hit every 3 to 4 weeks lately, the greedy lottery associations will be raising the odds of both games again. Pretty soon it will be: Pick 5 out 80 and 1 out of 35. It will happen. That's when we should all boycott both, if not now already. In 2006, PB jackpot odds were 1 in 175 million. Today it is 1 in 292 million.

I don't see this game lasting too long. Odds in winning 4 bucks on a 2 dollar ticket are 1:26. Odds in hitting this joke of a jackpot are 1:705k.
