Here is something that might interest some. In the picture below I have the positional repeat digit option open. Notice below the 3rd position data a red line extends vertically. This line indicates the games where none of the positions had a repeating digit. In the 70 games represented here 27 had no positional repeats. 27/70=38.5% so for these games we could have eliminated one digit from each position raising our odds from 25% to 33%. I went to Sheetz to cash my other $100 card win and the $250 one so they said they could not cash it so had to go to a grocery store to cash it and while I was there bought this bad odds card and it was the last one on the roll...they put their cards in back to front there in the machine so it was their first one but I said to myself it will never hit but scratched it off and be darned if it didn't. I think it's a good starting point but other stuff will be needed to pin down the digit positions and such. Even when we think the next game will have three different digits we still have 6 permutations after the digits have been selected. Playing a same digit pair has odds of 1 in 3 provided we can also pick the digit to go with the pair. There seems to me to be something hidden in the 1-3-5 that I just can't pin down. All The main idea is to pick a pair that is on a run then play until it ends. If we start with a pair then either double up on one of the pairs digits or choose to add a outside digit to finish the 3-digit code our odds have to improve. Since two digits repeat so often in the history I have no doubt they will continue to do so. The hard part for most of us will be playing through even when we have not seen a win in several attempts.
