Connecticut Lottery forced to redraw special New Year's raffle after 'human error'
Players of a special New Year's lottery raffle game in Connecticut may be out of luck if they tossed their tickets, after officials disclosed they need to hold a new drawing after 100,000 eligible tickets were mistakenly disregarded Monday. My guess is they are about to be sued by wronged players. They might want to set aside some money for the lawsuits. Our goal, first and foremost, is to make our players whole. How do you plan to do that when you said that people wh

People lucky enough to hold tickets with the number 71198 were blessed with thousands of euros in prize money in Spain's bumper Christmas lottery Friday. Million dollar winners: 00246526 00349652 00356926 00358219 Last two were likely sold on the same day, likely July 6, only two days ago. First winner was sold the 3rd week of June, which probably wont help early bird sales for the next raffle. 100K non early bird winners: 00008032 00274853 00320413 00392445 Last 100 dollar winner was 00403256, so just over 400K sold.

Post your scratch ticket results
I feel your pain.... While I haven't chased like that in a long time, I do get the itch and play more than usual every so often. I'm not really playing more often than usual right now, maybe a tad, but I'm doing terrible. I played two $10 Blowout tickets last night on 049 and 050 and they both lost. I think I already posted this, but last friday I went down to the local grocery store that just got one of the new instant ticket machines in and was going to play there.

Includes video report A retired Florida school teacher is back in court this week, fighting to keep her $1 million dollar lottery win. Her live-in boyfriend at the time, Howard Browning, says the couple had a more than 10 year oral agreement that if either won the lottery, they would split the money. This case went to trial back in 2012, and teacher Lynne Poirer won that case, but the Supreme Court of Florida sent the case back for retrial. In front of Judge Melanie Chase, Browning took

Illinois Lottery sales lowest in two years
Our winners will be paid, Illinois Lottery Superintendent B.R. Lane said. After nearly three months of withholding payments due to the state budget impasse, the Illinois Lottery said it's not if winners will get their cash -- but when. The Illinois Lottery saw a significant drop in ticket sales from September to October, which coincides with the state budget stalemate. Because they're not sure when they'll be paid, our players are buying fewer tickets. It's really that simple, Lane said.

Payout situation getting worse for Illinois lottery winners
Suspends lottery payouts for winners of $600 or more Feeling like you've hit the jackpot through the Illinois Lottery? Well, think again. State officials announced Wednesday that winners who are due to receive more than $600 won't get their money until the state's ongoing budget impasse is resolved.
