More state lotteries adding "win for life" games
Well, just like any other game, you are the one to make the choice to play or not.
I play the L4L in Ohio for a few lines. You never know when you will hit.
The lower prizes are okay, and the odds for winning are good.
2 Ohio people won 25K for Life since it started a few months ago.
So, you never know.
If you win the $1000 a day for life on L4L and take the JP annuity, then you would get about 69 a minute for the rest of your life.
Not too bad!
It won't Lebron James type mo

Just found me a Pyramid Goldmine P-3 System

I am a old Kansas man myself born in KCK way way back. Jimbo believes nothing can be done
to produce a winning system and that any winning streak is just that, a streak. He believes
that no matter how many times a person wins that they will end up on the short end of the stick
if they play long enough. He is however correct in his assertions that most don't understand
odds and probabilities. He enjoys demeaning peoples ideas while pointing out common fallacies

Lucky NJ man wins third major lottery prize
Scratch offs are a game where a particular ticket has been predetermined to be a winner or not.
Even better, most states do the equivalent of letting a blackjack player know when the remaining deck is full of aces and 10's and they don't reshuffle.
That makes it possible for there to be times when there is an expected value to a ticket greater than the price of the ticket.
They also don't distribute winning tickets randomly.
If you had the scratch you could probably do what she did

LOTTO RESULT 38 44 43 35 48 39 NO JACKPOT WINNER now up to high 30 Million plus (thread was tight again with 5 8/9 13/14 17)
SOLARIS shows 38 and 5 as 35 with 9 as 39 14 as 44 13 as 43 and 19 close 18 good for all six. LOTS OF ADJUSTMENT +30. To play high choice is often wiser because the chance of having an isolated single winning ticket are better with higher numbers.
general solaris 0/1/32/33 5 38/9 11 13/14/15 17 19/20 21/22/51 25/54 27/28
combo had 5 only and was close 42 only. LA

Pick 3/4 Meter Made Math Moves
A perfect example of completely misunderstanding how probability works and obviously those different length missed consecutive occurances couldn't possibly have have occurred simultaneously as you state.
You weren't looking for a specific set of non-overlapping missed consecutive occurences of 6,7,8
You might as well point out that the probability of two consecutive Powerball drawings having this sequence of numbers:
4 8 19 27 34 10
3 51 52 61 64 6
is 1 in 85,381,621,928

Question Regarding The Odds of The Pennsylvania Millionaire Raffle
Before we get into the logic of why we say the odds are as stated, we need to understand the truest sense of what a raffle is.
Raffles are similar to Lotteries in the fact they are a game of probability.
However, that's where the similarity ends.
Raffles differ from Lotteries because they guarantee a prize will be won by someone at the time of selection, Lotteries do not.
Typical manual raffles use a ticketing system where one buys a dual ticket stamped with identical numbers; seen b

So, the lottery has yet to produce a single Billion Dollar Winner.
The only method know would be to go to each state and get the total number of prizes paid. Since the odds
say that the chance of winning a prize is 1 in 24.87 then we can multiply that by the total number of people
who won one a prize.
In Missouri there were 429,587 winners so the estimate is 24.87 * 429,587 = 10,683,828 tickets. This is
only for the last drawing. To get a estimate for all states combined we would need to do the same for all
states that sale PB tickets. The

Luckiest States
A sequential series has never hit for the exact same reason that 11,238,000 other combinations haven't hit.
If you exclude the powerball then there are 11,238,513 possible combinations of 5 numbers out of 69
Of those there are 65 combinations that are sequential so you would expect a sequential set to be drawn, ON AVERAGE, once every 1662 years.
But a sequential series is just as likely to show up in the very next drawing as any other set of 65 combinations you can come up with.

I got one PowerBall ticket for last night with powerplay. Didn't win any part of the historic jackpot amount...or anything
for that matter lol
California and Florida were 2 of the winners...I believe it was Tennessee as the third to split the pot.
The sales must've been near madness from Saturday to Wednesday when people heard it didn't go, that's exactly
why I didn't buy more than one ticket. Sick hype, a billion would have been nice to win but so many people now
could prob

Maybe LP members should buy out PB
I am not against playing just want to caution people not to play more than they can afford to loose.
Based on the odds for the game it would take a very big bet to gain any real advantage and by big,
I mean millions.
