Mega Millions and Powerball Race
I tend to think that the Economic Impact Payments aka Stimulus Checks, played a huge role in growing big jackpots.
There was so much liquidity in the market and people gambled more.
Overall discretionary spending has reduced in the current environment that we are in.

Mega Millions and Powerball Race
Warning - this is a far fetched idea.
What would happen if the current jackpot is won and resets to 50M, then say the next 3 draws it's won every time?
What am getting from your comment is that MM is promising to give out what it essentially does not have from sales.
Thus my wondering of what would happen if we had back to back wins.
I know it's hard for that to happen, but just curious. Thanks

Family claims biggest EuroMillions jackpot in Irish history at €250 million
eating every type of food to their heart's desire
I'm slightly worried that winning the lottery and being able to buy $50 worth of fine chocolate every week with just pocket change might be a problem.
Well, the greatest nation on earth , aka USA, can't afford to let us walk away with a single penny.
States already skim 40 to 60% of the price of each ticket, so also taxing winnings is definitely greedy, and might even reduce sales enough to cancel out the tax revenue. The federal g

A very logical reason why someone might perceive that rich neighborhoods win more, alongside some fascinating psychological habits that people substitute for luck.
The Neighborhood Myth: Volume vs. Vibe
The lottery terminal in a high-end grocery store uses the exact same random number generator (RNG) as the one in a small corner store across town. Every single combination has the exact same mathematical probability of being drawn, no matter where the piece of thermal paper was pri

Michigan Weekly Breakdown — Fantasy 5 & Lotto 47 Trend Report (April 4-9)
From some of the things I've read in the Lottery Master Guide book (LMG) authored by the late Gail Howard, on page 8 in the LMG it says:

Because it increases lottery ticket sales for the next drawing. And it brings in more revenue for the State.
In the State of Michigan, from what I understand is... the lottery proceeds go into an Educational Fund to assist with the educational needs for grades K thru 12 in
